Kristy Kistic
Contains: 1) Several camerastyle.2da's for gettting up close shots of your characters and / or weapons. 2) Two programs that take the place of your kotor launcher shortcuts. (One for K1 and one for K2). They will automatically make semi-professional looking launcher screens from your screenshots and then launch the game launcher. 3) A simple program for taking screenshots. 4) A simple program for changing your wallpaper. Version 1.1 on PCGameMods Version 1.2 on my FileFront page Version 1.2 from my web site.

Pavlos
Very nice! This is a brilliant tool for those who want to take pictures of their new items, robes etc. A great idea, and it seems brilliantly implemented. BRAVO!
Kristy Kistic
================================================= Update: 01-24-2006 Version 1.1 0) Minor bug fix in the screenshot timer 1) Now includes a tsl launcher creator 2) Now includes the wallpaper changer that I personally use. Its capable of overlaying a random scripture (or random text from a file) on the image. Text from a file requires a split delimeter (such as ". " <- period space - one way to split sentences.) =================================================
Xodius
I just saved the file from pcgamemods.com but I can't open the file because it says it is an unknown file type. How do I open and use the file?
Jackel
I just saved the file from pcgamemods.com but I can't open the file because it says it is an unknown file type. How do I open and use the file? You are going to need a zip program that opens .7z files. This includes Winrar (http://www.rarlab.com) and 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org). But excludes Winzip. So download and install winrar or 7-zip and you should be able to open the file up.
Nancy Allen``
I would love to use the screenshot mod for KOTOR but am unsure how to get it to work. http://pcgamemods.com/mod/17465.html Can someone tell me how to get it to run, and how to take screenshots when it is? I'd love to take some good screenies of the game.

Darkkender
To take a screenshot while in game simply push your "print screen" button. Then go to the installation location of SW Kotor 1 or 2 and you'll see "tga" images titled something like KT00001.tga these are your screenshots. Load them in your photo editor and tweak with them. Frequently these will need to have the brightness turned up so that you can see your shot well.

Jasper_Kazai
I have used this program fine for screenshots, and I like it. However... The launcher is all messed up. What's wrong? P.S. Yeah, I used this program to take the screenshot.
Jasper_Kazai
I fixed it. I at first tried using some of my screenshots, but all of my *.jpegs looked like crap... So I adjusted the height of the buttons.
Kristy Kistic
Update to version 1.2 The sceenshot timer and the wallpaper changer have been updated with the latest versions from my hard drive. I included the required controls in the archive this time. Oops FYI: For people new to Kotor. These programs are not required to take screenshots. To take screenshots in game: Open your swkotor.ini or swkotor2.ini (whichever is the case.) For K1 under game options make it look like this: [Game Options] GUIsInScreenShot=0 EnableScreenShot=1 For K2 under game options it should look like this: [Game Options] EnableScreenShot=1 Use the PrintScreen key while in game to take screenshots. The images will appear in your base game folder. C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SwKotor or wherever you put it. I forget what the default paths are because I store most of my installations on a different partition - I have my reasons Version 1.2 is available from my FileFront page.
