OK, now that we have selected the top 10 questions out of the previous thread, we need you to select the best 5. The questions are listed below. Please refer to the question number for which option is which on the poll.

(1)Athanasios: Are there firing range indications both for ground and space units? We cannot see any in the demo, which, in many cases ends up brining your forces to close to the enemy and get anihilated (not to mention those torpedoe launchers that undeploy automatically from their defense points....).

(2)Jmaster3265: Q: Little has been known about the heroes of EaW besides a few mentioned and there abilities. Can you go into more depth with this matter?

(3)gstommylee: I have a clarrification question is the regular edition cd and the collectors edition dvd? I'm curious to know if the collectors edition is dvd i haven't decided which one to get yet.

(4)eaterofpies: What mod tools will be made availible?

where will the official tools go from and to.

eg will we only be able to edit the xml or will we have access to the lua files model formats to create convertors and so on or will the community have to create their own tools

(5)Sithman1138: What effects happen when major characters are taken out. Leia, Luke, Emperor, Vader, etc...

(6)lamme: Why did Petro opt for such slow combat between different types of troops? e.g. Plex vs. Storm.

(7)wedge2211: We're given information on which units are strong or weak against each enemy unit. If I leave a number of units alone, or give them an attack-move command, and they encounter enemy forces, will they attack those enemy units they are strong against, and try to avoid those they are weak against (like, for instance, a strike group in Homeworld 2)? And if not, is there time to implement this?

(8)wedge2211: Can both "move," "attack-move," and "attack" commands be queued as waypoints, rather than just "move" commands? It'd be nice to tell a bomber squad to take out the hardpoints on a ship in a particular order or tell a group of units to sweep for enemies along a given route, instead of having to wait and issue each command individually after the last is completed.

(9)Master Nikolaus: Will the retail game run faster than the demo taking into acount all of the various factors including larger maps, etc?

(10)shadowsfm: how do you selectivly split your fleet for an initial invation fleet and a follow-up second fleet?

The questions are really good this time. I have to agree :D

I went ahead and voted for the CD/DVD question as that is what I am mainly intereasted in at this momment. Since the game is only weeks away I think we should now what the deal is with that.

Oh god, someone asking for it to be FASTER. I just played through the first time and it went much to fast for me
If you meant my question I will elaborate. I witnessed combat between troops go very slowly next to what we see in the movies and nearly all other star wars video games. Considering you can just run troops over with vehicles this makes mixed combat seems awkwardly slow/worthless.

Basic soliders vs. basic soldiers works rather well, but it still seems slow having 15 shots taking down 1 trooper.

i think they should stop with the questions i want some suprises in the game instead of telling us whats in the game, demo was enough and now waiting time

Yeah, some of the questions seem like things that will probably be covered in game tutorials or in the manual (for instance, we don't need them to tell us now which button you push to make part of your fleet hyper into a system after the first part, and we don't really need a full breakdown of all the heroes). I'm more concerned about...well, the things I asked...because they are issues that could significantly affect gameplay.
