Well I don't have any good theories but I have a few observations.

First of all, I think it's rather suspicious that he "accidentally" did it palm up first and then switched to palm down. I also noticed at least 2 situations where he was holding the card with fingers on either edge (bending position) first when he was placing it on the back of his hand and second when he was flipping his second hand over (when he was showing you there were no visible tricks on either hand)

The problem with that is though, if he bent it there, how would he keep it from being visible until he wanted to? Also, I noticed that at first he holds the card face torwards the camera so that if it was bent or bending you couldn't tell very well.

The first step of figuring out a magic trick is making these sorts of observations.

It's totaly bull****. Maybe it was made to change shape under some heat. And WHY did he have to put it on his hand? If you wanted to impress me you could put it on a concrete floor and do it there.

The only one trick I could never figure out is when David Blaine bends a card, put it in the middle of the deck (so you can really see it, because it's bent) then instantly move it to the top.

Well I was intruiged by the demo and wasn't disappointed with what I got in the download. In fact I still haven't watched all of the video, I just had to rush off and try it for myself. This is truly a little thing of beauty.

The trick is practically effortless (depending on how far you want to take it).

Once you know the secret you will marvel at its simplicity. Its an anytime, anywhere trick that you can perform close-up, surrounded, show your hands empty, perform in the nude if you really want to, with a card from someone else's pack of bikes - they select the card and they can check that there are is nothing attached to the card.

This may not be to everyones taste but if you like the effect that you see in the demo then this is for you. It has to be one of the cleanest tricks around. Once you've placed the card on the back of your hand you don't need to touch it ever again in order to get a pretty reasonable bend, which leaves you free to focus on presentation and ham it up as much as you think you can get away with.

I also love the fact that this was invented by a guy in the Phillipines.

Overall

9/10

Apparantly theres a lot of controversy to this. But it says you don't need to ever touch the card or bend it in any way.

Pretty interesting if you ask me.

Except you would think that a regular playing card would be way to thick to curl just from the heat of your hand.

The only real flaw with this trick that I see is aparantly it takes quite a while for the card to bend completely, which means that I guess it could have to do with some natural force like heat, but who knows?

Maybe it has something to do with his breath? He is holding it rather close to his mouth.

Ooohhh... you're on to something.

Is there sound or no? I don't recall. Because if not, he's probably going "huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" the whole time on the card. :p

You know, that really would work. Except that on the information of the trick it said you can do it with any "naked deck" meaning that it hasn't been tampered with, and you can apparantly do it with any card or deck.

He IS holding it pretty close to his mouth though... hmmmm

I'd buy the video but I'm just too cheap.

yes, well nobody's getting the video 'coz everybody's cheap. And if one guy buys it and tells us how to do it, he'll feel cheated, 'cuz we got the info without the money, while he didn't. Now all we need is a good-hearted, naive forum member....
