Lynk Former
Get ready to see just how small the Revmote is (For those of you who haven't actually realised yet) These pictures are of the updated design of the Revmote, saying this, only MINOR changes have actually been made since the Revmote was first shown to us at TGS 2005. First, the window at the front of the Revmote is different, it's now small and circular. Second is the analog attachment that attaches to the Revmote is also slightly different. The plug that plugs into the bottom of the Revmote is different than the one shown at TGS 2005. This one is much smaller, like a powerpoint plug while the old one was a large cube like plug that attached to the bottom of the Revmote and looked like an extension of sorts. But yeah, for those of you who thought the Revmote was big, think again.
IG-64
Yeah, I actually did know it was that small. I figured it out when they first released the information on it. It's still rather shocking to see it in someone's hand like that though.

ZBomber
Any chance they get rid of the cord connecting the two controlers? Any reason they don't just do a wireless setup (curious)?
IG-64
Any chance they get rid of the cord connecting the two controlers? Any reason they don't just do a wireless setup (curious)? Because it's battery powered. And that would require batteries for both the main controller and the hookup. Adding a wire lets the batteries from the main contoller power whatever's attached to it. Though I don't see why they can't make the cord longer.
ZBomber
Yeah, I don't like how the wire is kinda short... but then again, if it was much longer there'd be too much excess wire a lot of the time.

Mike Windu
I didn't, actually. But I didn't recall anything with a sword in Red Steel. Oh well. The guy looks like a nutter, anyway

IG-64
I didn't, actually. But I didn't recall anything with a sword in Red Steel. Perhaps you just looked at the pretty pictures and didn't read about it then. Here: Click. Main web site. (isn't much, but it does show the basic idea of the game)
Rogue Nine
Yeah, if them pictures are supposed to make me want to get a Revolution, then they've sorely failed in that mission. :<
Lightsaberboy
i think it's the long wire, but it makes me want to sneak up behind someone and strangle em. Does that sound normal?
ZBomber
Is this supposed to show us that we're gonna look like asses when we play the N-Rev?
Tyrion
i think it's the long wire, but it makes me want to sneak up behind someone and strangle em. Does that sound normal? :| On another hand, I think the people may actually be playing the game. In which case...we all will look like asses. Oh well. At least we're not self-concious. Jeff
Is this supposed to show us that we're gonna look like asses when we play the N-Rev?Well to some it looks like that, and to others it's the next step to virtual gaming I think it's gonna be sweet
Mike Windu
I already know we're going to look like idiots playing this, but that's fine by me. *dances around on ddr pad*
ZBomber
Well to some it looks like that, and to others it's the next step to virtual gaming I think it's gonna be sweet Ofcourse, I'm excited about it too.... but I'm saying that picture wasn't a good idea to publish. It doesn't really seem much smaller than when they showed it last time, and the poses they are in make it look absolutely rediculous. Hence, what I said. It just doesn't seem like a good way to advertise it, showing people looking like asses with their product...
Jeff
I see your point. They do look a little too excited in the pictures
ET Warrior
I have every intention of looking as stupid and uncoordinated as possible when playing the NRev. It's the only way to go.

Lynk Former
Those people are folks from Ubisoft posing for a photoshoot for Game Informer for the Red Steel preview. So of course they look nuts and like idiots, they spend most of their time in dark rooms creating videogames for a living These are the pics that weren't used in the mag. As for people worried about swinging the Revmote around like an idiot. You can if you want, or you can just do it like the rest of the world and use small movements that are hardly noticable. Remember, it's a photoshoot, they're purposely acting like fools, otherwise every picture of them would be of them standing there pointing the Revmote at the camera looking very dull. Lynk Former
According what's been said, the Revmote only needs as much effort as it takes to work an analog stick.
