Det. Bart Lasiter Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I'm watching the first one right now. SALSA SHARK! We're gonna' need a bigger boat...
CapNColostomy Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 The Silence of the Lambs bit had me in stitches.
Pie™ Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I'm not gonna get my hopes up for this one, seems a bit like too much action and too little dialogue... But at least I can be pleasantly suprised.
toms Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 *weird My Name is Earl crossovers makes head hurt* This is gonna be great...
CapNColostomy Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 *weird My Name is Earl crossovers makes head hurt* This is gonna be great... Guess I missed that?

You can't really play much dialogue if the preview is approved for all audiences, now can you? I saw the trailer when I saw the new Scary Movie. Trailer spoiler The whole bit opening in black and white just like the original to see the place in flames made me laugh harder than I did at the movie I paid to see.
Pie™ Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Oh crap, just clicked the link, and this is a different one from what I saw. My hopes are a little higher now.
Tyrion Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 *weird My Name is Earl crossovers makes head hurt* This is gonna be great... It's Jason Lee, he was Kevin Smith movies long before My Name is Earl. First one off the top of my head is Dogma. But yeah, it will be kickass. Kinda odd to see the lead duo as middle age losers, though.

toms Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I know. He rocks. Maybe its not a a crossover at all, its hard to tell. I think it was the fact that he LOOKS just like the Earl character in the trailer. Maybe they are hoping to grab a few MNIE fans with it. Also, isn't Randy one of the guys talking to Jay & Silent Bob?
Katarn07 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Also, isn't Randy one of the guys talking to Jay & Silent Bob? Randall busts Jay and Silent Bob in the opening of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back if that's what you mean. I don't get the question...

Also, isn't Randy one of the guys talking to Jay & Silent Bob? yea the actor who plays Randy, Ethan Suplee, was in Mallrats (his first feature film) as Willam Black (he was looking for the sailboat magic picture) and has been in a few more askew films, chasing amy and dogma i think. So its no suprise he's back with Jason Lee in this too
toms Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Heh... forgot about that... I could never see those damn pictures either!!
