06protoguy Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Tell me if this thread has been posted before because i dont want to have to look through 5 pages of threads for it. But what is your favorite map? Mine happens to be Coruscant.
Niner_777 Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I like Coruscant too. It was fun because you could stay on the outside of the map and shoot inward while still taking command posts. I also really liked Mygeeto. It looked kind of like a real warzone. There was some interesting structures also. Mygeeto was probably my favorite map. However, as others bring up other maps I'll probably realize I like them too.
ET Warrior Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Tell me if this thread has been posted before because i dont want to have to look through 5 pages of threads for it.Because using the 'Search this Forum' option is so hard to use? Surprisingly enough, with the 10 billion different polls that have existed about everyone's favorite everything, favorite map doesn't appear to have been one. At least nothing that a quick seach turned up.
zerted Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Nope, I've never seen a favorite map poll, a worst map poll, but not a favorite.
TSR Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 mine's got to be the legendary Mos Eisley! damm, i know that map better than... anything really...=S
MachineCult Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 My favourites would have to be Kashyyyk, Death Star and Utapau.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 I like most of the Episode III planets in the game....but I'd have to say Hoth for the OT. And the Tantive IV.
Darth Andrew Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I like to play Coruscant, Tantive IV, space Mygeeto, and Mos Eisley (though it would be nice if there were more interiors to the buildings ).
Commander Obi-Wan Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 (though it would be nice if there were more interiors to the buildings ). Yeah, lol. Gotta love laziness.
jawathehutt Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I'd say mygetoo, tantive, mos eisly and the big ol death star
Niner_777 Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Mos Eisley has some very good potential, with the desert city and all. I think that there should be taller buildings too. People could get in the buildings and snipe from a high window, rather than from the top of a one story pueblo.
ParanoidAndroid Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 I'm actually fond of Naboo, I was a bit put off by it at first because of I wasn't used to the night setting, but now I find it to be one of the more fun maps. It's odd, I never liked Theed in BF1 but now I find it's becoming my favorite battlefront. Besides that I'm fond of Yavin IV (surprisingly) and Hoth is always fun (although I always wish their was more to it somehow...) And Kashyyyk, if just to snipe.
TSR Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Yeah, i only really go on that as galactic civil wat as the empire. the blaster exchange you get in the central plaze is just like you imagine star wars...
jawathehutt Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 theed, mos eisly and any other city maps would be sweet with enterable rooms like battlefield 1942
toue Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 the death star is easily my favorite map with tantive 4 and hoth hunt/ctf my second favorites
biny Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 My favourite map is Tantive because I love the fighting in close quarters. Coruscant is another one of my favourites for that reason, also. Kamino is pretty good to, but not for that reason. (I mostly play the Kamino for SWBF1, which I downloaded.)
ParanoidAndroid Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Tantive's a good map too. I love sneaking about the corridors as a Bothan Spy, incinerating those pesky engineers before they can use their detpacks.
biny Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I only ever play as republic so I can't share your enthusiasm about bothans. I like camping in a corner and killing all who come my way.
