logan essex Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Is hoth the end of the 501st mission part of the game
Niner_777 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Yeah, it is. I wish there was more though. Oh well.
MachineCult Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Oh well... Like i've said before, the Campaign is called "Rise of the Empire", and after Hoth the Empire goes downhill quite rapidly. Hoth was their "finest hour", hence it being the last mission.
jawathehutt Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 wouldnt that just be like Endor land and Endor Space thats like oh wow we trained you and now we loose
TSR Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 indeed. although, i dont particulary remember the imperials invadind mustafar in the OT, so, hey, why not throw in some levels?
Niner_777 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Yeah, they didn't leave much from the movies to put in another game, but I'm sure they could come up with a couple of levels in a half an hour, lol.
HK-42 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 yeah, there probaley is going to be about 100 new levels of BF3 if there is going to be 1
MachineCult Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 yeah, there probaley is going to be about 100 new levels of BF3 if there is going to be 1 Bollocks, 100 levels... There were only a little bit more in SWBF2 than there was in SWBF1.
TSR Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 eh, obviously rthe number of levels does count, but also the quality. suree, they might make alot more, but if they're all bugged to hell and back, then there's not much point really.
firestone10@msn Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 well fall of the IMPs can go to the VONG era
MachineCult Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 well fall of the IMPs can go to the VONG era No thank you, the Vong era is a load of crap, but if you're going to go that far into EU then the Rise of the Empire can go 130ABY, in the era with the Imperial Knights, not sure what the era is called though...
Redtech Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Well, at least in the Vong period, the Jedi were everyone and the average grunt was useless..sounds like BFIII candidate right there!
TSR Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 i have no idea what the vong era is =| please inform, im not good with the expanded univers (i.e what isnt included in KOTOR, battlefront series, jedi knight or the films) i feel ashamed...
MachineCult Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Well you should be Ben, all Star Wars fans should be warned about the Vong. Shortly after Jedi Academy an alien species called the Yuuzhan Vong crossed into the Star Wars galaxy from another one and wiped out the Galactic Alliance, took over pretty much the whole galaxy (I believe). Now, Supreme Overlord Shimrra counts Coruscant, renamed Yuuzhan'tar, as his throne. How F**ked is that? Worst EU ever. Oh and what makes it worse, this is what the Vong look like:
TSR Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 thats fu**ed up. so, im guessing thats what state the "sw galaxy" is in atm? i.e jedi close to extinction again... stupid EU... they've ruined it all...
MachineCult Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 No, thankfully, Dark Horse has come and saved EU, by 130ABY the galaxy is ruled by a new Empire and there is still a Jedi Order and an order of Jedi called the Imperial Knights who are obviously leagued with the Empire, no Vong, and even better, no Alliance.
TSR Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 happy ending? until another EU storyline comes along... im guessing Luke got slaughtered by them....
monkeycomandoe Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 ok listen i have an idea under water battles like the battle of moncolamaria and you can play as kit fitso and stuff like that!
Relenzo2 Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Kit Fisto? Bah. What we really need to play URAI FEN in BF!!!! These Alliance people led by Han could run in with the Consortium, in theory... and Urai Fen would be awsome to play.
