600+ friends is easy to get to when you don't bother to put the brakes on, ever. All throttle all the time!

 

What?

 

Most of that number comes from band and band-tribute pages of music I like, or have worked with, though. I'd say, less than 200 of those friends are people I actually know personally.

 

And even that seems high,.. until you consider I work at a college, and have a constantly rotating 40+ student crew under me every semester. Most of those kids have pages. And since I work at a music college, most of those kids are in bands with pages they all want me to add as well.

 

It built up quick without even trying.

 

I've been stagnating at just shy of 700 for a couple of months now, however. I think I'm tapped. I'd have to just start adding random people to get any further at this point, I think.

 

And since my online social-networking focus has shifted to Facebooking it these days, I'm guessing that isn't going to happen.
