Nayama? Keria? Any Connection?

Recommended Posts

Now its just a question, please don't burn me alive by shooting fire out of your eyes and screaming NO at me :D(And if theres already a thread for this..im sorry :D)

I also havn't played TSL in...A YEAR...I'm going to start replaying it right now, but I didn't feel like waiting as long as it would take to dig into Kerias past to ask this question.

Jolee said his wife was Nayama, and that he trained her against the councils wishes, and all went well until Exar Kun.

Suposedley Keria was a follower of Exar Kun...right?

Jolee said he never killed Nayama. However she went on to kill many Jedi (Thus asuming she was a very powerful Sith?) He did however say she got killed in the final battle on Yavin 4. I don't buy it though. Way to mysterious. ;)

Wouldn't it be just plain AWSOMENESS if Keria was actually Nayama? And that she was the apprentice of Jolee? AWSOMENESSSSSSSS > . < :smash:

Why wouldn't she change her name?! If the entire jedi council knows your the pupil of Jolee? Sheesh > . <

"Sorry, but no. Nayama was killed in the War. And I don't remember seeing anywhere that Kriea fought with Exar Kun in the War."

She was...yha...I already mentioned that? Who says she was? Jolee? And thats it, He never even mentions who kills her? How she died? He wasn't even there WHEN she died.

I personally think its vauge enough to make a small connection.

So Keria was a follower of Exar Kun...and she never fought in the war...?

Did she say she didn't in TSL? I havn't played it in like a year > . < So If she did, then you got me there!

Neitehr of you 2 really provided evidence that theres no connection. Remeber, Reven was "Dead", Vandar was "Dead."

At this point, unless I see the person die in-game, they arn't "Dead." ;)

Doubtful. Kreia was Revan's first master, and Revan is obviously not over 40. He had to have been trained at least twenty years after the war with Exar Kun, and Kreia couldn't have rejoined the Order by just changing her name. This thread should also be in the Telos Toursit Bureau.

I forgot that ;)

I guess I'd better start TSL now, lmfao, least I post anything else invalid ;)

Eh, I thought this would be more on the lines of KOTOR 3, as thats when it could be revealed that she was Jolees Pupil.

Move it if its in the wrong forum, my bad.

Mr. Darth InSidious...the way in which you posted this:

"Um, no it wouldn't be "AWESOMENESS" - it would be a level of interconnectedness which is contrived to straining the suspension of disbelief to breaking point..."

Quoteing my point of view, and then saying it was incorrect...made me angry and hurt, to the point of which I used intense and...anger filled words...

"Dumb"

I'm sorry if that offended you, as it was wrong of me to post this in anger. I should have had more self control, and I possibly may have misunderstood what the intention of your post was.

At this point im also sorry I asked a question on this thread, LMFAO :D WON'T BE DOING THAT AGAIN ANYTIME SOON!!

Mr. RedHawke, you may now close this thread if you want ;)

Master Urza, mod edits stay... period. Calling other posters 'dumb' is flaming and will not be tolerated. Forum Rules. Don't make me have to put this back again... -RH

Dumb people use big words to sound smart.

Um, no it wouldn't be "AWESOMENESS" - it would be a level of interconnectedness which is contrived to straining the suspension of disbelief to breaking point...

Is it really necessary to start insulting each other over theories on video game characters? We should try to keep this place civil. :) It's only people's opinions.

No Flaming. We shouldn't have to explain what this means. You cannot, in any way, insult (or "flame") someone else on the board. People may not be insulted just because their opinion differs from your own. Flaming includes calling people names, insulting them in any way or saying offensive things to them. There is no need of this, and it won't be tolerated.

I have posted an edited apologize in the above statement. I have edited this in the probability and possibility that it may also be considered a "Flame."

I THOUGHT that due to the fact that Jolee and Kreia's master-pupil relationship COULD be revealed in KOTOR 3, that I should post it there.

MY BAD

Anytime you post an opinion or idea, you have to accept that it's going to be open to criticism. Apologizing and stating "IMO" before hand doesn't exclude you from that. ;)

And no, I'm sorry but there's no way your idea could be true. Kreia may be around the right age, but there's nothing that indicates that she fought in the Exar Kun war. Besides that, Kreia was a Jedi Master, while Nyama was a semi Padawan being trained by another.

Now Kreia and Arren Kae is a whole different story. ;)

Master Urza,

A couple of points...

1) This thread is off topic for the Unknown Reigons, this should have been started in the Telos Tourist Beareau as this is about a TSL subject. I see that you now know this so all is well.

2) Flaming another user will not be tolerated in any form, no more calling people 'dumb' ok?

@ ED I really don't see where DI was flaming, flaming is name calling pure and simple, DI had no name calling in his post.

Edit: Master Urza, please leave any and all Mod warnings edited into your posts alone... as your offences were reported they have to stay there. You can PM a mod and ask that they be removed later on but to do so on your own is a no-no. Ok? Thanks.

Let me know if this is what you wish...

Master Urza, many posters get a rocky start, but if you give it some time you will get the feel for this place. It is far kinder and gentler than some forums I browse believe me. ;)

I was referring to Kriea, not Nayama. If you had read my post right, you would have seen that...

Kreia never said anything about serving in the War, as I recall. I could be wrong, though...

*puts acid away*

Plus Kreia would have been training revan and the other students at the academy during the time which Jolees wife was said to be some colonist.

Actually, Kreia would have been training Revan long after the Great Sith War was over. In K1, it is mentioned that the Great Sith War (Exar Kun's war) was over forty years ago.

Since Revan was trained by Kreia while in the Jedi Order, it would seem very odd indeed for her to be allowed to do so, if she had fought and killed jedi during the Great Sith War, unless we're going to speculate that she trained Revan before that time, which seems highly unlikely to me. Indeed, doesn't Kreia tell us that she was cast out of the order just before the Mandalorian Wars when Revan defied the order? That would seem to make the theory impossible or exceendingly unlikely IMHO.

And, just because I have to add a little humor, Jolee says Nayama's got a great body. I'm not sure Kreia falls into that category....

Seriously, Jolee says Nayama got killed by a Jedi whose name has been lost with time. With few exceptions, dead is dead.

Well, maybe she did when Jolee was still young. No guaruntee that hard sith livin' would have left her with much of a bod after 40(?) years... ;^) I don't buy the connection myself either, though.

And also don't forget the Dark Side still taints her.

I'm still edging towards the Arren Kae + Darth Traya = Kreia theory. This would sort of clean up some stuff if Kreia were the Handmaiden's mommy.

Kreia said she was exiled for training Revan, Arren Kae was exiled for having a kid.

They both had something to do with the mandalorian wars.

Again, this is a theory, but it's slightly more backed up than the Nayama = Kreia theory.
