ChAiNz.2da
K..Swampers, since some of you don't visit AHTO, here's a cut-n-paste ------------------------------- GENEVA, Switzerland (AP) -- A global competition to name the new seven wonders of the world is attracting widespread interest, with more than 20 million people voting so far, organizers say. Source Vote for your choices here: http://www.new7wonders.com/ Pretty interesting little read, and a nice list of candidates (21). It does require e-mail or phone registration in order to vote, but if you want to be a little piece of 'history' (whether it's officially acknowledged or not we'll see ).... I voted for mine
DarthAve
I voted for the Eiffle Tower, The Pyramids of giza, Easter Island, Statue of Christ Redeemer, Statue of Liberty, Great Wall, and Sydney Opera House. Some of those things are modern marvles, some are just cool, and some are my christmas ornements(Eiffle tower. Love you, target!)
Tyrion
I would've voted for the Anasazi Cliff Palace. That's certainly a wonder.
Windu Chi
I'm not voting for none, the universe is the best undiscovered wonder out there. But if I was going vote, I would choose the Pyramids of Giza; the wonders of ancient civilizations are of great interest here on this planet. Emperor Devon
Since I'm so lazy, I'm just going to copy and paste my reply in Ahto. A few things were excluded, but there was a pretty good selection. I ended up voting for the Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, Hagia Sophia, Kremlin, Petra and Taj Mahal. Thanks for the link, ChAiNz! IG-64
Acropolis Easter Island Great Wall Petra Pyramids of Giza Hagia Sophia Stonehenge I ranked them by size, age, complexity, mystery, history, and intactness. Had I been given the choice, instead of Hagia Sophia and Stonehenge, I would've voted for the Pantheon and the Nazca lines.
