was it just a poster or am i missing something?

The poster is the only thing I saw. The teaser will be released during the commercials for Happy Feet. But, I am sure it will be up on internet soon enough.

Cause Happy feet is a kids' movie ?

Eh, I'm seeing Casino Royale tomorrow. I want to see the teaser there. Happy Feet looks okay to me. I may see it....eventually.

Ah, seems like I missed one. I saw the first one, the one with the small fugly gnome and parts of the prisonner one, I thought this was the most recent. How many episodes are there again, 7 ?

Yes, there will be seven movies. And there is already 6 books out, and the 7th book will be released around the same time as the 5th movie.

And by the looks of it you missed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (4th movie) and most of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (3rd movie). And you watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1st movie) and Harry Potter and the Chamber's of Secrets (2nd movie). ;)

I'm actually kinda of excited about the next movie...

I blame other people for making me read the books.

Heh, I blame my parents. They got the first book for my daughter about 6-7 years ago, and boom, that was it. It was nice to see her enthusiastic about reading for a change though. The last movie was too funny...puberty really hit that actor who plays Malfoy like a ton of bricks. The first couple of movies, he's this perfect little Hitler Youth wizard, now he's this gawky, gangly creature who makes Andy Dick look poised.

It's bothering me how 18 and 19 year old actors are playing characters that are supposed to be in their early teens.

But meh, I guess there's nothing we can do about it.

Isn't that how acting works? Older actors play roles more convincingly and look younger through acting/makeup?

Yeah, and anyways, theres no way they can get the actors to be the correct age because the movies are a year apart in story but are released every 2 years. And you definitely want to have the same actors and actresses for all of them.

I tried reading the Order of the Phoenix book, but I didn't like it at all and I never finished it. The Prisoner of Azkaban and the Half-Blood Prince are my favourites. Goblet of Fire for me is the worse for me.

Also, off-topic, but I like the look of the new James Bond. Anybody hear about the man who changed his name to James *All James Bond films as his middle names* Bond?

OotP, I thought was a good book. I've only read GoF to HPB. I liked them all. And I hope they don't **** up this movie. Like they sort of did for the Goblet of Fire.

No.

Also, the new Harry Potter movie site is to be updated later this week I think.

Ah, yes. Maybe this thread should be re-named or something. I'll edit or inserted the new site at the beginning of the thread. And yeah, it was with the Happy Feet theatrical release back in November.

I play the Harry Potter game for the third movie, Prisoner of Azkaban. I was a good game, at best. Though, some parts were entertaining, to say the least. I might look into the game once the release day comes around.

I also noticed that the movie is to be released on the 13th of July... which happens to be a...

friday.
