Darth Groovy
My Thanksgiving was going well up until the very end. My sister's dog, Sassy who lives here with us is almost 14 years old. Poodles often have skin problems especially old poodles. They get ugly bumps on the skin, sometimes they bleed or get irritated. Right now she has a hideous bump right on top of her forehead, and it started bleeding when my sister tried to give her a bath. Thing is, she has also been coughing alot during the past year, and today she didn't act like she feels too good. Tomorrow my dad and my sister are taking her to the vet, but my mom and my sister both think that she might have something terminal, and will get put to sleep or whatever. I like the dog too, she's a family pet and been very close to all of us for a long time now. All I ask that each one of you say some sort of prayer, or if you are not religeous, do whatever it is you do to bring us some luck. My mom and my sister are VERY upset right now, and we are just hoping that maybe the vet will give us some antibiotic or some ointment for her head sore. I know that old dogs have problems, and getting old is part of nature, but this will absolutely ruin our holidays if anything bad happens to Sassy. This is an older pic of me, but the dog's look has not changed much over the years. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers, Groovy. Darth Groovy
Update on Sassy. Took her to the vet today and she has a "collapsed trachea" which gets agrivated when she gets excited. It's treatable with medication. All the bumps were just warts which he removed, including the nasty one on top of her head which they had to stitch up. Now all of the warts that were removed had to be stitched up so her fur is shaved off in alot of spots and she looks a bit like "Frankenweenie" at the moment. Still, she's gonna be ok. And she's still as awnry as ever! Thanks for all of your prayers, Grooves

narfblat
It would have been nice of Grooveh to label that pic as "frankenweenie," instead of confusing all of us. Grooveh, I wish your dog a quick recovery.

IG-64
Haha, no, don't confuse frankenweenie with a real dog. Glad to hear about your dog, Groovy, I hope the medication makes her life better.
Sabretooth
That image is very disturbing if you look at it in the night. Especially with that weird stuff squirting from the neck. *shudders* Great to know that your dog's okay.
