jebbers
Theres going to be a WoW film too? And I hope Uwe Boll doesn't even get allowed to be on the studio lots. Who do you think will play Snake? Michael Ironside might be good for the older Snake, though he should just stay with Sam Fisher. Ethan Hawke? Tom Cruise? TiE23
It's probably just going to be like one giant long cutscene from the game. I'm betting it's going to be CGI with the voice actor for Snake, David Hayter.
RoxStar
They'll probably incorporate a car chase somehow
BongoBob
Seriously, every single video game movie should be all CGI with the Voice Actors from the game doing the voices.

martmeister
It makes sense. Why use a new actor or "someone famous"'s voice when everybody knows/likes the ones from the games?
Lightsaberboy
I can imagine Hugh Jackman doing snake, and maybe Sean Bean doing Liquid.
Pho3nix
Nice. Michael Biehn would be a cool choice since he was the one who inspired the looks of Solid Snake in the first game. I also hope Uwe Boll doesn't direct it.
Lynk Former
I can imagine Hugh Jackman doing snake, and maybe Sean Bean doing Liquid. Damn straight But we all gotta ask ourselves though... is it gonna be Metal Gear SOLID or Metal Gear that's gonna be made into a movie?... Often when names like these are dropped it's often the incorrect one to describe the movie actually being made...
jon_hill987
I also hope Uwe Boll doesn't direct it. From Wikipedia.org - When rumors appeared that Uwe Boll expressed interest in a Metal Gear Solid movie, and claimed to have been given a script to read, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima responded in his audioblog HIDECHAN, "Absolutely not! I don't know why Uwe Boll is even talking about this kind of thing. We've never talked to him. It's impossible that we'd ever do a movie with him." Happy now? BongoBob
That's what Metal Gear Solid 4 would look like if Uwe Boll was involved
Darth Groovy
Nice. Michael Biehn would be a cool choice since he was the one who inspired the looks of Solid Snake in the first game. I also hope Uwe Boll doesn't direct it. I remember playing that game on NES. I also remember playing MGS on PSONE. I never got into the Metal Gear games much. I just never had the patience. I won't be waiting up for that movie anytime soon. The MGS story is just a wee bit corney for my tastes...
Lynk Former
I seriously doubt that it's going to be about this. I seriously think it could be. Since it isn't packed with full cutscenes like MGS is, they can build a story out of MG. MGS on the other hand is a movie within itself.

Lynk Former
Give Kojima-san some credit, he would never let Metal Gear fall into Uwe Boll's hands. And yes, that little piece of information is true, it happened a long time ago now and was posted up on a lot of gaming sites.

Johnpp
But it's from Wiki. Can it be trusted? I once saw on WikiPedia that when Steve Irwin died he stuck his thumb up his butt. I think that proves WikiPedia connot be trusted on some levels. But really, making movies of games is really... Weird.
