"Ah so... Alla has finally told you the truth." Rueben said. "Bastila and I discovered that she had gone there very long ago."

Worry began running across his face. He realized something that had never hit him before... Alla was a Sith when she died. He realized the Darkside was strong with Alla and her decendants, that gave him more of a reason to want to train Monica. If she fell and embraced to the Darkside then the Republic would fail again... even though it had just started. The way he looked at it he had two choices... kill his cousin or make sure she didn't fall. He chose the second option.

ALLA! Rueben screamed through the Force, so no one could hear him. You must not mess with Monica's training... send her to the Darkside and I will deal with you personally. You must remember I am the grandson of Revan and Bastila... I could send you into oblivion... just like Revan did to Ajunta Pall.

As Monica listened to her music, she turned the volume down a little, and looked at Rueben. "If my ancestor, Alla, was a Sith... would I fall to the darkside? I mean, there's this thing about family pasts, and I think the Blair famliy must've broken the chain of the dark side from our family."

She glanced down and sighed. "That's why I don't feel the dark side... coming into me." She rubbed her locket with her finger. "Why can't you have this locket, Rueben? I mean... I can give it back to your family. I don't even know why I'm the chosen one."

Darrick shook the Wookie's furry hand. "Hello."

After Rueben was done answering with Monica for the moment, Darrick threw in a question, "Sorry to interrupt but can you eventually teach me how to talk Wookie or atleast translate it?"

The Assassin walked down the Corridor of a hidden Yuuzhan Vong lair. Passing by many glaring Vong Warriors, he was not afraid! He was never afraid!

He made his way to a long, large throne room. It was decorated with Trophy Skulls attatched to the walls, belonging to many dangerous animals and strange creatures.

Ahead was a flight of steps, leading up to a Throne Room Chair. And on that Chair, was the Yuuzhan Vong Warlord himself.

The Assassin bowed.

"Greetings! It is a pleasure we have finally met!" he spoke. The Warlord sniffed in disgust.

"It is a wonder why I tollertate the presence of your species within my lair!"

"Perhaps, but this is an acception! I have sworn my allegiance to you, great Vong Warlord!"

"You choose to betray you Galactic Government? Why?"

"Because they are weak! I view them as being misunderstood and crippled. An organisation without purpose, and relates to the Sith Empire! The Vong's however, have a purpose in this Galaxy!"

"What do you propose? Destroy the Empire?"

"Exactly! I hear you have among you a dangerous weapon! Something that can destroy an entire planet with just one blow! I speak of coarse; The Yu'un A'jja Bomb!"

The Warlord spread an unpleased expression across his face.

"Why should I allow you to have access to such a dangerous weapon?"

"Because you can use it to destroy the very capital of the Empire! Coruscant!"

A pleased smile ran across the Warlord's face...

Kala overheard Monica and Rueben. The fact that Monica was the cousin of Rueben was surprising. The young girl had a good presence in the Force... but she was worried that she might fall to the Dark side. If she did, well... who knows what'll happen. Kala looked at Rueben, seeing if he thought the same thing.

((Sorry for the delayed response... I tried to type it yesterday then the computer crashed...))

"I suppose you always could give me the locket, but then you'd have to leave the Galaxy, never to return." Rueben said to Monica. "So it's your choice... give me the locket or keep it whatever you do, realize that you must do what you feel is right."

"Yes... but right now... we're kinda in the middle of something right now... speaking of which we need to get going." Rueben said.

(( That's okay, BP! :) ))

Monica looked at the golden locket. She loved this locket, and in her heart... she wanted to keep it safe with her. The young girl turned to Rueben. "I... I'll keep the locket. A friend, back on Earth, gave me this. Miss Stone's her name. We've been friends since I was a little girl. She always called me "Little Angel."

Monica grinned, but tears came out her eyes. "I hope she's all right down there... along with everyone else on Earth." She glanced down silently. If something happened to her planet... or galaxy, she'd take the blame.

"Mmmm... yes, I understand." Rueben said, smiling... glad she chose to keep it.

Something, doesn't feel right. Rueben thought. I feel cold and... it's growing stronger... it's time we get going.

"Let's get going before the Darkside takes over the galaxy." Rueben said, and began walking down to the Courscant Underworld.

You are using your physical senses, Nadia, her mother's voice scolded inside her head. A faint image of her physical form appeared before Nadia and she shook her head. "Can you not feel the sheer power flooding through you? Can you not feel the Force?"

Now that her mother mentioned it, Nadia did feel different. She glared at the ghostlike apparition for a moment. Then gradually, she understood by instinct what her mother expected of her. An eager grin lit up her face as she identified her mother's location through the Force.

"I know where you are," she said. Her mother smiled mischievously and the image faded.

Then find me, she instructed. Nadia halted where she was.

"I already have," she said. "The Jedi destroyed your body and bound your spirit here." She gestured around her. "And I'd have to guess it's been recent, since it wasn't until recently that you decided I was needed. Though, I am curious. How did you manage to contact me if you cannot leave?"

The ghostlike figure of Nadia's mother reappeared. "In the chance that I would be killed, your father insisted I bind a piece of me to you somehow. The pendant you wear around your neck is that piece."

"Then how did it end up behind the false bottom of a vase in an antique shop?" Nadia wondered with a frown.

"It was taken from you as a child," her mother answered. "It passed through the hands of various 'owners' before finding its way into the shop." With a laugh, she added, "I frightened the old woman who owned the shop half to death when I appeared to her."

"Why did you show yourself?" Nadia wondered.

"I had to return to you so you could return to me," her mother said. "The easiest way to force the pendant to change hands was to frighten the owner into giving it away. But the old woman who owned that shop didn't do that... she put it in that vase... used to be a white vase, but under my influence, the coloring changed. And that frightened her even more."

"And you called to me," Nadia said. "Now I'm here. You're here. What do you want?"

"You need training, Nadia," her mother answered. "Back on that pathetic little planet I sent you to, all you'd have to deal with would have been street thugs. Here, you face Jedi. You have to be ready."

"Then let the training begin," Nadia instructed. And from the dark shadows of the great cavern around her, seven shadowy figures appeared.

"These are my loyal guards," Nadia's mother told her. "They will provide physical training; I will provide mental."

And so began the training of Nadia de la Cruz in the ways of the Dark Side.

"Ya know, with the Dark side rising, things are gonna be less easy," Kala mumbled, irritated. The Dark side was getting stronger, but she tried her best to keep the Light side of the Force in her. Kala could see they were near the Underworld. "Good. We're almost here, guys."

----------------------------------------------------------

Miss Stone sat down on her chair, in the antique shop. That girl must've been close to the ghost formed lady she encountered long time ago. That's why she couldn't do anything. She looked, sadness in her eyes. "Oh, Lord.... please don't let Monica fall to the Dark side. Please. I'm getting too old and tired from all this..."

How is it I can protect her? Leon repeated the was a long pause were the coldness of the darkside began to fill his head...

It has already began you shall protect her from the dark side but you your self will be corrupted by whatever dark forces attack her... The voice hissed then there was silence, Leon wasn't sure weather the voice ad just been his own thought or... could have been Tulak?

" Are we nearly there?"

Kala glanced back at Leon, and smiled. "Almost." She turned her head back ahead. Indeed, they were almost there. She could feel the Dark side, almost surging though. Kala sighed.

"Man, there's gotta be a way to stop the Dark side. But I know this: If we work together as a team... any thing is possible." She turned to the others. "Just because we're kids, doesn't mean that we can't accomplish anything. But if we put our heart and mind to it... we can. Remember that." Kala smiled. "Wow. Never talked like that before."

Monica didn't say a word, but nodded. She looked down, thinking of what the future may be for the Jedi... and the galaxy.

Rueben smiled, for some reason he felt confident... that and the Darkside had already began to recede as they neared the bottomless pits of the Underworld.

The hair on the back of Rueben's neck stood up.

"Someone is coming... hide... don't let anyone see you." Rueben said. "If we can avoid battle the better."

He disappeared, melting into the surrounding features of Courscant.

Kala hid with the others as well. "I just hate it when people around here look for a fight. It's just annoying." She turned to the others. "If anything happens, ready your lightsabers. This might be your first test." Kala glanced at Rueben. "Do ya think they're thugs?"

Monica didn't really like fighting with thugs. In fact, she never fought one before! Fear was rushing through her, but then she began to restrain herself from it. Monica knew she had to have courage.

"Naw I doubt it..." Rueben said. "It feels more like a Sith. Sorry for the bad news... let me handle him if he attempts to do anything... I know he can feel us, but he is just an initiate, so he may not know where we are."

His grip on his lightsaber strengthened... he thought that if he kept holding it like that it might break, so he loosened his grip.

Kala placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "If anything happens to you, Shan... I'm there for you. We're all there for you." She gave him a warm smile. Kala's friendship with Rueben grew strong, as did her feelings towards him.

She looked ahead, seeing if any Sith would jump up from anywhere. If the Sith did show up, Kala would be ready.

((Since I seem to be playing the Sithy side of things, I may as well take this guy too... have an idea to run with on him. ;) ))

"It is rare for Sith and Jedi to meet for nothing more than speech," the stranger in the dark cloak called, coming out of the shadows. He kept the cloak wrapped tightly around him so his facial features could not be determined. "But now, it is necessary. Do not grow restless. I am nothing more than a Sith Seer."

He moved forward until he stood about two meters away from Monica and her companions. With a thin, white finger, he pointed to Monica.

"You are someone special," he said slowly. "And for that, you are the greatest threat known to the Sith in this age. But I have foreseen your doom. For another was chosen..." His voice trailed off and he cocked his head to one side.

"I will not say chosen," he went on finally. "But she was hidden away for her life was reserved by the Dark Side for the Great Purpose. She trains even now for the day when you will fight. As I am merely a Seer, I have no true side in this, though I have touched more Dark than Light. Therefore, I have a warning for you."

He withdrew his cloak, leaving himself standing plainly visible, dressed in pure black cloth. His eyes were pure white and his hair was glistening silver.

"Beware, Monica Blair," he whispered, his words penetrating every fiber of Monica's being. "The training of Nadia de la Cruz will be far quicker than yours in the light. She grasps by instinct the very basic principles of the Dark Side. She will be ready far sooner than you can ever hope to be."

Holding up a hand to prevent any comments from Monica or her companions, he went on, "But there is hope for you yet. Just as your greatest ally is the locket around your neck, so Nadia's source of power is the pendant she wears around hers. Split the power from the girl and she will fall."

He turned away, gathering his cloak from the ground and, in parting said, "But I warn you, Monica Blair. That pendant around Nadia's neck will not be easily removed. It wants an outlet for its power and in Nadia it has found exactly that. The bond between them will not be easily broken."

Nodding slowly, he walked away, nothing further said.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

"Try harder!" Nadia's mother shrieked. Slowly, Nadia picked herself off the ground after what seemed like the zillionth time she'd been thrown there by one of her seven 'trainers'. "Your mind and body are strong, Nadia. But you must combine them. Use the Force, use your body, torture their minds. They are nothing to you."

The rage had been building up gradually within Nadia, for every time she failed, her mother had an insult waiting. And as she hesitated, her mother came up with yet another insult.

"You filthy little scrap heap of untapped power!" she screamed in what could have been a mixed insult and compliment. "You're worthless if you can't fuse every part of your power into one full scale burst.

"Enough!" Nadia screamed, thrusting her arms out to either side. All seven trainers went flying, slamming into the walls around them. Slowly, Nadia moved forward, ignoring what she had just done and approaching the apparition of her mother.

"You are nothing," she snapped. The ghostlike image of her mother flickered and took a step back. "You allowed yourself to be killed and bound to a single place in all the universe. You lost contact with me because you couldn't bind the pendant to me with enough force. You need me."

"The Sith need you, yes," her mother agreed, a little panicked.

"I said you," Nadia snarled. "Thing is though... I don't need you."

"You've only been training for a few hours!" her mother protested. "I have so much I can still teach you."

"No," Nadia answered shortly. "For as soon as I do this..."

She stretched out a hand in her mother's direction and the ghostly apparition that was her mother began to stretch and skew. An inhuman, ear-piercing scream of agony echoed through the cave system. When Nadia dropped her hand, the scream faded and her mother's image seemed to stabilize, but then she fell to her knees.

"I have all your knowledge," she said. "In essence, I have become what you never could, even with all your knowledge of the Dark Side."

"Nadia, forgive me," her mother pleaded. "I have been foolish and..."

"Yes, you have," Nadia interrupted. "Now die a fool and have no peace in death."

The look of complete fear on her mother's face just before she faded to nothingness brought a cruel grin to Nadia's lips.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

From the shadows not far from Monica's group, a shriek sounded and the Seer staggered back toward them "I am a fool!" he cried. "Nadia's training is complete! Soon, she will rule all the Sith."

The look of pure terror on his face was amplified by the fact that his eyes had faded from pure whiteness. Now, they were normal, brown, human eyes. He fell to his knees before Monica.

"Monica Blair," he whispered. "If ever this galaxy had a hope for survival... that hope is you..."

And with that, he convulsed and collapsed. Only a few seconds later, with a deafening shriek, the Seer perished, his heart stopped by the sheer evil he had seen would occur if Monica could not stop Nadia.

Monica looked at Darrick. "Thanks, Darrick." She smiled.

(With the Man)

Monica began to panic and cry. Hearing what the man said and seeing him die made her more afraid. "But... but I'm just a high school student, not a hero! I... I don't even know how to destroy the Sith!" She began to panic some more.

"This must be a dream! Wake up, Monica! Wake up!" She fell on the ground, crying. "Please... wake up." Tears fell from her eyes, as she bowed her head and closed her sad eyes. If Monica had to save the galaxy... she'd need all the training she could get to stop this Nadia person.

Leon ran to Monicas side trying to comfort her stop her crying.

"You'll be okay You'll show that Nadia!" He said rocking Monica tears begining to for in his eyes. Leon rose looking over to the now dead seer and began to aproach him some kind of force pushing him forward.

" But how you get to this point is not set in stone," The voice said now louder. Leon turned to face the old man he wore the grye robes of the Grey Jedi.

" Who... Who are you." Leon said walking towards the figure.

" My name... My name is not important and you you are my son the child born from me Revan said that you would be needed elsewhere and so I agreed to your sending to a different galaxy... " The figure said.

" Wha... What thats not possible my mum and dad are back on earth..." Leon said he paused and looked at his father.

" I was adopted..." he said he looking back to where his father had been but found him self lieing on the floor the others near him.

Jeremy came up from the basement of the antique store, rubbing heavy eyelids he grumbled to himself while scratching his head.

He came into the main store, looking around with a weary look on his face he kept surveying until he saw Miss Stone, he approached her, when he got closer he could see something had upset her.

Crouching down until he was eye level with her he took off his sunglasses, staring the old woman in the eyes, his own eyes traced with concern.

"Is everything alright ma'am, has something happened, did someone hurt you, or did someone take something?" He questioned in slow rapidity.
