Sabretooth
Contact Lenses + Computer Circuits = Instant Superhuman Win But really, if this technology is pursued a bit more, the possibilities are endless. This can change the way we humans interact with ourselves and the world completely. Your thoughts and skeptical remarks on the matter?

Hallucination
I'll hold out. Until I can take screenshots of real life, mothertrucker!
Rev7
That is pretty cool if you ask me. Once they 'perfect' the product, I think that I would love to try them out. I think the only few disadvantages would have to be your eye blowing up in a freak accident, or malfunction, or, your vision not being corrected. But as Sabre said, "The possibilites are endless". I have to agree...
PoiuyWired
So next time you pwn3d your friend RL you get to take a screenshot... But yeah hooking that up to the computer would be nice, you can be watching tv at work and no one would suspect anything. Or, superimpose the face of your fav hawt celeb inside the bedroom... I mean, next time when you are in a tight spot and you need to "think of the happy dolphins" you can actually see dolphins. FINALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, tug in some funky visual filter, and a pair of sound altering earplugs... darn INSTANT LEGAL DRUG!
Dagobahn Eagle
Taking 'screenshots' of real life without the need for a camera is indeed something I've dreamed of for a long time. Wow. The future is here:).

Rev7
I would settle for regular permanently corrected vision:/ I would have to say that I agree with that. These things would probably cost way to much for the average person to afford.
HerbieZ
That'd be great only, technology like that would not get into the hands of the general public easily. That sort of thing militaries would snap up. Imagine the possibilities of taking that thing into an exam and accessing the internet getting all the answers. Everyone will have to look straight into the eyes of the teacher. It's a cool device, I'd want to try it. I can't imagine the possibilities. Negative Sun
lolz, most people can't handle normal contact lenses, never mind ones that will cost considerably more and might do more damage to your eye if they rip...

Sabretooth
lolz, most people can't handle normal contact lenses, never mind ones that will cost considerably more and might do more damage to your eye if they rip... That makes me think - won't these be fairly expensive when they have all the cool good stuff we want? And it would ceratinly suck if you lost these lenses somewhere, because they cost a mothertrucking 'mount of $$$! Exactly... now if they made them implants with 20/20 Color, Infared and Ultraviolet capabilities... that would be sweet! Hey hey, let's not forget the mandatory X-Ray vision here!
