how much of a JK nut are you?

I still have the original box for Dark Forces. My mom wanted to throw it out several times over the last 10+ years, but I demanded she leave it be. It's still in fairly good condition, too.

I have Dark Forces, Dark Forces 2, MotS (original disc lost, backup disc remains), Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy x2. I also remember being ranked #1 for about 3 days in one of the WoW's (you know, back before 'WoW' stood for World of Warcrap).

On a slightly off-topic-but-still-kind-of-on-topic note, I have an autographed picture of Mara Jade, and my license plate is MARA J 8. I was a fan of her before MotS... if that tells you anything... ;)

I played Dark Forces a really long time ago. I really started playing the JK series in JKII, where I ended up joining a large clan (ISO) and I spent way too much time in Bespin. When JKA came along, that's when I started to do some modding, making player models, etc. I joined another big clan (GoW) and I've played off and on with them over the years. I started a massive 7-story tower map for GoW, and I got to about the 5th floor and never finished. Now days, I don't play JKA anymore at all. It's really old, and I just don't enjoy playing it anymore.

I have two official copies of each game DF through JA, then I have back-up copies of each of those copies. Plus the Xbox versions of JO and JA. I think I have Jedi Knight installed on every PC I have and most likely every PC I will ever have. I luvs me some JK.

JK DF 2 was my very first computer game and still the best in memory. I played Dark Forces, JO, JA and MotS, but none compare with DF 2.

Sort of makes me want to play again. Awesome

Same except for me I include MotS with JK cause its almost the same game but with improvements... idk what it is about MotS but it has this almost different feeling that JK does not have.... JK has that Epic movie like story and MotS has this like mysterious like story

my favorite games of all time :D

That's what I liked best about JK, the huge epic feel to it. Lucas doesn't do star wars as good as JK was. With MotS, I thought it was good, but not up to par with JK

I think it has to do with the cut scenes and Kyle's voice... if those things were fixed then it definitely would have been on par with JK

Yeah Kyle's VA in MotS was... eh. But Mara's was amazing -- just as I imagined her. :D

The guy who did Kyle's Voice also did batman's voice in the cartoon "The Batman"... that cartoon was no were near as good as Batman TAS... heh kinda like how his acting was no where near as good as Jason Court's :xp::lol:

I'm a huge JK fan. My first game i could play by myself was JK. I tried to get MotS after that but never could till last year. I've also got JO and JA. I can't find DF though its driving me insane. I live in New Zealand btw so things are harder to find here. I didn't like JA much but JO was awesome not up to JK scratch though. If they kept Jason Court and the Live action cutscenes JO might have be nearly as good as JK. I mean JO was good in all it just didn't have what JK has. MotS I enjoyed more that JO what with new puzzles seeing as I know all of JK and JO's puzzles off by heart. It was still real good but JK always holds that special place in my heart. I mean JK is what made Katarn my favorite SW ever, and no one is Kyle Katarn but Jason Court. But like I said I'm a huge JK fan. I've made my own JO Kyle saber and I'm currently working on a replica of his Byar blaster from JK not JO.

I also have them all. Though Jedi Knight took me a long time to get because it was back in the days when 3d gaming was starting to become more popular. I just thought the models looked wrong compared to the old 2d sprites and such. When I eventually got JK though, I certainly didn’t regret it.

Of all the games in this series, I’d have to say Dark Forces is the one that sticks the strongest in my memory. I still have bittersweet memories of those damn Dark Troopers…those ones that ran around on the ground with shields and a sword. I can still remember with a shudder that noise those things made…and how I ran like a screaming sissy every time I heard one! They reminded me of the Terminator, and they just kept coming after you…

*Suffers nightmarish flashback* Oh, gawd! It’s one of those Dark Troopers again! Save me Jan…SAVE ME!! I wanna go hooooooome! :ball:

Enough of a nut to put up with all of the testosterone in this forum for 6 years and counting... :p

If our very own resident Forum Mum can’t put us back in our place, then no one can!

Personally, I’d rather take on one of those dreaded Dark Troopers in naught but my undies, while wielding a teddy bear, than cross Lexx!

:D
