Ctrl Alt Del
Well, I don't see him as much more than a human. Check his build and the shape of his mask, which gives us a nice idea of how his face is. Looks human to me. - Hazzen and Sion have completely different personalities. Indeed. I can't imagine Haazen turning to a subservient Sith Lord. Methinks the comics intetionally did so that these characters remembered the triuvirate as a feint to divert the readers attention. Ztalker
Why isn't the arm attached OVER the stump? This is Old Republic technology..maybe they couldn't attach it directly to the stump? Remember, Haazen got his wounds in the Great With war...which goes even further back. It's just that the mass collection of possible evidence is...strange. We don't know what happened with Sions eye...maybe he put someone else's in his own socket after his artificial one was destroyed? And for change of behaviour...Malak and Revan changed. Nihilis wasn't norn as a destroyer of worlds...I think tragedy or other stuff can change people
luckyariot
Nihilus is opposite to the Exile in a sense that they were presented the same choice, yet chose opposite paths - Which itself should have no bearing on the gender, appearance or age of Nihilus whilst he actually had an idenitity. I agree here. The Exile-Nihilus theory is a good one, but I really doubt it has anything at all to do with how Nihilus's old life was (appearence, etc.) A possible Sion. And guess what? His best friend/padawan, Lucien Draay, has lost everything at this point. His position as a Jedi Master, he's accused (rightfully) of murder....and he has a mother called Krynda. All three Sith Lords could originate from these 3....Sion, Nihilus, Kreia... Although I think Krynda may be Kreia/Traya, I don't think that Haazen becomes Sion. The prosthetics don't help him here. Really, Lucien Draay looks like he's heading in that direction in the comics (, and he's more likely to be subervient to someone in personality). Just think about the conversation with Sion to a male Exile about the "favorite son" thing. Creeeeppppyyyy... but interesting. I hope not. It better not be Zayne, you hear?! Amen! I kinda like Zayne; he's just a kid in over his head. It would be horrible for him to end up as Nihilus...
JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan
i reckon hes human. remember one of the possible response in her conversation with him was "still human enough to feel betrayal?" (concerning visas) and, if you really increase the brightness of your monitor + the brightness of the game to a degree, nihilus has quite a humanly shaped head behind the mask. and, there was a cut menu in the game featuring the twin suns with nihilus and and gawking cannok. that wouldnt work if he wasnt a human/close to human! get the hilarious mod here: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Main_Menu_Nihilus_Restoration;79400
Corinthian
I figure Nihilus has to be at the very least, a Near-Human race. Miraluka would be a delicious irony.
Endorenna
I found this interesting. Be warned, if you read the comics, this is probably a major spoiler. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Eventually Nihilus became so absorbed by the Dark side of the Force that his physical body began erode. Knowing he would die if he did not act soon, Nihilus ripped his spirit from his body and encased it in the armor he wore. Allowing the dark side to consume him, as his body dissolved completely. Using the force he was able to keep his robes, armor and mask held together giving him some form, allowing him to use his force powers and wield a lightsaber, but apart from that he had no physical form. adamqd
^^^ I hope not, I dont wanna see the 'triumvirate' at all in the comics! just that small explanation of nihilus sums up how out of place these characters are in SW.

Yar-El
Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic - Campaign Guide Victim of the Mandalorian Wars, the man who became Nihilis lost everything: his possessions, his loved ones, and the will to live. While illness cannibalizes his body, a vast emptiness devours his humanity. Then, when all seems lost, he discovers that this emptyness hungered. The first time, he fed it unconsciously. Draining another being's life is frightening, nauseating, but for a euphoric moment, the memories, the illness, and the hunger disappeared. (Hey! Soul Eater from Nverwinter 2: Mask Of Betrayer) There is more to the story, but I just cut it down for simplicity.
Giant Graffiti
Be warned, if you haven't read the comics, this is probably a major spoiler. What comics? I certainly don't remember that happening in the KotOR comics. EDIT: Just looked it up. It's from Legacy comics.
Endorenna
^ That's from Wookieepedia. I don't read the comics, so I put it in a spoiler tag in case someone who did didn't want to know. Thanks for putting that other part in, Yar-el!

Thanks for putting that other part in, Yar-el! Anytime Endorenna. I would have added more information, but it only repeats what people experienced in The SIth Lords. Ztalker
No, his name is not Nihlus. Nihlus is a Turian Spectre. Nihlus=Nihilus. It all makes sense now!
Corinthian
So, after Saren blows Nihlus' head off, he uses biotics to encase himself in his body armor and then modifies a Mass Relay to fling him 1.2 million light years?
Darth Avlectus
Maybe a bit out of order, but the Kotor comics will shortly start a story arc that turns some people into Dark Siders. Why it's interesting? This is the first victim to fall to the Dark Side in this arc: A possible Sion. PS: They're part of a secret covenant who plans to hunt down all Sith, going as far as killing their own padawans. Sounds Dark Sidish to you? Yes it sounds dark side. Possible spoiler: This month's comic talked abnout the prophecy of the five. possible Spoiler end These two...malak...revan...traya... Gee. I wonder. A little deductive reasoning... As for the pic... No, actually I have been following the comics for awhile...this guy (ex jedi master Haazen) is suspected nihilus. The plot has been heading in this direction for awhile. Besides, I have a sneaking suspicion that skull he's holding is going to become some kind of mask. Don't you? It's not sion. Why am I so bold as to say that? Suspect sion is Lucien Draay. Here is a pic: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:SWKOTOR35_art.jpg Looks a lot more like sion to me. Don't you think so??? Look up more pics of Lucien Draay and place that zombie ish look of sion on the face...then compare it to Haazen's. Sure Haazen has the eye deal, but notice the arm of haazen is ALL mechanical? Sion's rotted right arm was still there--or at least the upper part of it that wasn't covered by the glove. If Haazen has a mechanical eye anyway, the eye is gone. Though the original eye could still be in the socket, but I doubt it. Sion's right eye in the messed up region of his face didn't look at all mechanical--looked like normal tissue damaged. FYI In previously released comics the two have been working together like business partners. (hint) Draay found "some relic on malachor V with power that seems to have this growing hunger" (hint hint) Haazen responded on the order of: Ahh! Seek out this relic and bring it to me!--the jedi must not know. All subsequent appearnces he seems to be getting more and more shadowy. Coincidence? I think NOT! (hint hint hint) Draay has sort of followed in haazen's lead... (hint hint hint hint) Haazen is always sort of asking, demanding, or taking things from Draay...greedier as time passes. that last one Correlates especially because Sion and Nihilus who have an alliance and fragile one at that... "I have never needed you" and as we see, breaks apart in the popular Sion VS Nihilus viodeo on youtube... Nihilus always sort of assumed himself the lead--look at his body language around sion. Other hints: Haazen is taller than master Draay... Darth Nihilus is taller than Darth Sion... Lucien Draay is a scion (heir) of a tremendous fortune. sion is a variation of scion but pronounced the same way which means heir. Sion was going to inherit the trayus academy from traya... I think I've made my case. BTW it looks like the lightsaber hilt has been done in fanservice of the authors of ultimate saber mod.
Endorenna
I'd say the above is a distinct possibility, from what I've read and heard about the comics. What Haazen looks like on the outside (aka mechanical arm, bad eye) doesn't matter. Look at my first post on the previous page and you'll know why.
