DarthAve
I recall a while ago seeing a thread in the swamp about Advanced Placement classes, and I figured that since tomorrow starts testing, we should talk about it again. I'm only in APUSH, and we take it Friday. I've been studying like crazy, but feel okay, a 3 at least considering my history with in class essays and DBQs. What is everyone else in, when are you testing, and confidence?

Tyrion
It's weird: this year I take all of my ap tests in order of confidence. Tomorrow's Government, which I feel supremely confident about. Then Thursday's English Lit, which I'm a bit worse at (out, out, damned essays!), but I can probably still pass. Next Monday is then Music Theory; ironically, while I can read and write music decently well, I can't listen to it worth crap. Then there's Chemistry the day after, and that's gonna suck. Tyrion
Holy **** that's my schedule! Are you majoring in music too?! *paranoid* And I like Psych too! :| (Not majoring in music, though. Just doing the class 'cause I like playing and writing songs; an actual major in music would probably kill my interest.)
MrWally
I would have been taking AP US Government, AP Comparative Government, AP English Lit, and AP Microeconomics, but I got into the Honors program at the college in L.A. I'll be going to next year, and AP Credit doesn't transfer over into honors (though it helps you get into the program itself), so I got a refund and won't be taking any of the tests. I was feeling really confident about all of them except for Micro. I haven't cracked open a micro book since December.

IG-64
I have 2 finals today, and 2 finals Wednesday, and then I'll be done with the semester. I have 2 more classes to take before I graduate with an Associate of Arts degree. I was going to take the last 2 classes during the summer, but I decided against it. Instead, I'm going to use the summer as an opportunity for a bit of soul searching to decide what part of the Computer Graphics industry I want to work towards, and to build on my portfolio/demo reel. I might dabble in freelancing for a bit of income as well. I also plan to return to SIGGRAPH this year, since it'll be relatively close (in New Orleans). Then I go back to school in the fall, and I should be totally done by the end of the year.
MrWally
I didn't take it, but I heard the Comparative US Government test was ridiculously easy. In the sense that you almost had to try harder to fail. Anyone else able to confirm this?
Mav
I just graduated from college this past Saturday, so I don't need to worry about AP exams, but I do remember failing my BC Calculus AP exam when I was in high school, I got a 1/5 I drew a dinosaur eating my math teacher. I thought it was avery well done drawing, but I guess the exam graders didn't agree. Funny thing is, in all the math classes I took in college, we never got past the first 5 chapters of the AP Calculus book I used in high school.
