Canderis Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I am working on a mod for TSL that gives you hoods to wear. I have the model in the game and working. Now to make other variants, one for each color jedi robe. I am working on fixing the clipping now. Lord of Hunger Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Awesome! You got a "mask" item to export and such! Well done! And the look is as awesome as ****! Keep this going mate. This is great stuff!
Salzella Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 looks great, really realistic looking hoods. reminds me of avols hood mod. how do you plan on fixing the clipping issues?
Canderis Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Moving vertices. I just remodeled the hood, it looks more like Anakin's ROTS hood. Clipping fixed.
Lex.mkr Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Looks good! I've never played a hood mod before, so I need to ask: are they masks, or part of the robe, or what? Anyway, keep up the good work!
Canderis Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 They are masks. UPDATE: New model. See first post.
ojajebie Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Looks great! I really like it, I hope it will get released soon.
ROTNR Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Ha looks great ! =) but I would suggest maybe pulling the hood down a little in the front to almost cover the PC's forehead this could help it look even more realistic =) but very good job -Pete
VarsityPuppet Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Very nice Canderis. The hoods appear to have merged flawlessly into the jedi cloak.
Mandalore The Shadow Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 are they stsationary or do they move and bend when you do?
TriggerGod Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 are they stsationary or do they move and bend when you do? Mask models move with the head, although the masks aren't exactly on top of your head, like this one is. so it won't bend like a real hood will, but it will move with your head.
Canderis Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Very nice Canderis. The hoods appear to have merged flawlessly into the jedi cloak. On the front, yes, back still a WIP.
Mandalore The Shadow Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 that i know but will it act like a real hood or will it look like a hood made of plastic
Canderis Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 that i know but will it act like a real hood or will it look like a hood made of plastic so it won't bend like a real hood will, but it will move with your head. Nuff said.
Drewton Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Looks excellent. Hoods were one of the things missing in both KOTOR games.
VarsityPuppet Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Question: These are being added as masks (I do know that much) but are they going to have any bonuses? I mean, you could have a set of masks that do nothing, but I think it would be cool to have some that give you some good bonuses. That way people like myself wouldn't have to choose between headband bonuses and awesome looking hoods. Just a thought.
Trench Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Very nice hoods Canderis! I'm gonna have to clean out my override folder.
ZimmMaster Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Did you model these after Avol's Hood mod? I use that mod and I love it.
Canderis Posted July 21, 2009 Author Posted July 21, 2009 At first I did, I wanted that mod to ,be back into circulation but then I decided to improve and this is the outcome.
