This is a mod that's been sitting on my hard drive for a while, I decided I should probably release it for the benefit of the community. It is fairly innovative, as it includes a rocket launcher firing rockets that smoke on the way to the target, then gloriously explode once they get there. New models for the rocket and launcher. You're going to have to use KSE or cheats to get this one, g_w_launcher01.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Copy all the files in the .zip into your override.

 

DESCRIPTION: This mod adds a whole new rocket launcher (XIM-18) with exploding, smoking rockets, that blow up on contact with any foe. This is the first mod to incorporate on-hit effects, and the first to add emitters to any projectile.

 

Cheats:

giveitem g_w_launcher01

 

 

BUGS: There is a bug in the item description, it adds a damage bonus of BadStrRef +1-10, this is currently not correctable.

I had lots-o-fun playing around with the rocket launcher when I was taking screenies.

This one was my favourite, since it shows the blast enveloping the room, and even the shooter :D. The look on his face is priceless, like he feels the heat and knows that that the blast could fry him too :bounfire2.

Heh, you can say that again...:p. Awesome mod as always SithSpectre. I hope the next one is a gizka thrower!:thmbup1:

 

If you look into the Minigun Mod's baseitems.2da and the ammunition.2da, you'll find a row for such a gun… there's only an item missing. ;)

While I was trying to merge all those .2das with mine, one of them suddenly decided to crash. Screenie

 

Something similar happened to me while working on the RoR mod. My appearance.2da file has over 1100 lines in it, so when I try to save it, I get the same kind of thing: every field of every column or row is filled with the same text string. I can't save it manually anymore (but I thought that it was because the file is so dang huge). It drives me :loco:. The only way I can make changes to that 2da file is throught the TSLPatcher.

 

I think that if you use the patcher to merge your two ammunitiontypes.2da files, it should work. As to why it happens, I have absolutely NO idea.
