Ser'eck Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 The first trailer to the next chapter http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2861996057/
The Doctor Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Another one? Bloody hell, haven't they murdered a beloved childhood cartoon enough for one decade?
Prime Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Naw, it lives on in Transformers: War for Cybertron.
reivzje Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Trailer looks good but will this be like a prequel or what to the 1st and 2nd film ?
Titanius Anglesmith Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 This was just a teaser. It doesn't mean the whole movie is taking place in 1969. Despite the fact that it looks like their giving more attention to the story this time rather than just hot chicks, explosions, and robot testicle jokes, I'm still not interested.
Q Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 This will probably make a lot of money, unfortunately.
Lynk Former Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 ITT: People angry at an advertising idiot trying to make a movie that's one big advertisement for toys which is ruining childhood memories of a cartoon that was just one big advertisement for toys made by another group of advertising idiots. Hey, I love Transformers... but I'm not going to lie to myself about why this entire thing exists in the first place.
Q Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 My post was based on my dislike of Michael Bay's film-making style, if it can be called that. My faith in the Transformers was shattered by the first movie... back in 1986. They killed Prime just to introduce a new toy line.

Bay believes in adding more explosions and stupid jokes.
Jamps Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Haha, well I'm obviously in the minority on this one. I'm pretty excited to see this one come out. I enjoyed the previous two films. As mentioned previously, it does look like they're putting more effort into the story. Hell, there are also rumors that it will feature NASCAR, so they automatically have me. Product placement what?
Drunkside Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Will probably watch it and not give a damn about it. Thats what i did with the earlier ones.
Darth_Calo Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Megan Fox's departure from the film is both a blessing and a curse blessing: her awful acting skills and non-existent chemistry with equally non-talented Shia LaBouf (or HOWEVER you spell his name...!) will no longer drag down the movie, letting them focus on a good story rather than trying to make sam and mikaela work curse: she's attractive, and um a LOT of the male population that saw this movie remembers it thusly "sailor jokes...megan fox leaning over a car...explosions...psycho robot...Megan Fox kicking ass..." and the second one all I remember was her motorcycle scene, that whole movie was just awful, hardly worth the 99 cents i paid for it. hopefully michael bay doesn't completely destroy the Transformers franchise, because it's classic

This. I'm sure the movie will be your typical summer popcorn flick, injected with a healthy amount of CGI porn. I'm fine with it...
