Keyan Farlander Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I tried the demo for Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. Seems pretty cool. A game that is basically a tribute to 80s action movies? I may have to buy this. I miss the 80s so much
K_Kinnison Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 I am almost finished with FarCry 3. Got my privateer uniform. Have all the Memory cards, weapons, and letters. just need a few more relics and take out one outpost and i will finish the storyline
Rogue15 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 i sent my 360 and all my games home. all i got is the laptop with swtor on it.
Rogue15 Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 think i'll have a celebration at chow hall tonight....for completing ssd1...now i have the right to go to warrior leadership course, the course required to become a non commissioned officer!
Wildstar Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 Beat me to it, R15, but Happy Star Wars Day to everyone, just the same!
edlib Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Stepmom had surgery on her head. She took a fall off a bike about ten years ago, and a couple of months after that she started having fluid buildup in her head causing pressure on her brain. That happened again, causing the confusion. I guess the problem can periodically reoccur once you have had it. They opened her skull again to relieve the pressure. She's doing OK. Recovering. I'm burnt out. So many days at work in a row without a day off is making me goofy.
K_Kinnison Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Next star wars games is going to be from Electronic Arts. The Worst company in america *sigh* guess there is no chance now of an X-wing game ever happening
Cmdr. Cracken Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 It will, K. 5 dollar DLC for a TIE Defender, 5 Dollar DLC to fire Proton Torpedoes. 5 Dollar DLC to fly an A-Wing.... Oh, and online only.
Rogue15 Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 meh. i love swtor. that's from ea/bioware.. so this is good news for me, means swtor won't be shut down. lol
Keyan Farlander Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 It will, K. 5 dollar DLC for a TIE Defender, 5 Dollar DLC to fire Proton Torpedoes. 5 Dollar DLC to fly an A-Wing.... Oh, and online only. Yeah, I was saying the same thing yesterday. One might say that I have...a bad feeling about this.
Rogue15 Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 nothing wrong with online only, most parts of the u.s. have access to high speed internet connection. why is everyone here always so ****ing depressed?
Rogue15 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 i think myfitnesspal.com may end up being the death of me. heh girl im talking to apparantly getting back with her ex. figures! ill give it a week before i just block/remove her from my life. aint nobody got time for friendzone.
edlib Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Work party today. Lots of pizza, chips, cookies, and soda! And Fruit Ninja Kinect, Raving Rabbids, Mortal Kombat, and Dance Central on a movie screen with a hi-def projector, and a huge sound system.
K_Kinnison Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 That is one toy I would like to get, a projector. There is a wall in my house right by the door I can see from my Computer desk. 6 feet wide.
Keyan Farlander Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I've got a work party today too, celebrating the completion of this year's projects, none of which I worked on. Yay me!
Cmdr. Cracken Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 nothing wrong with online only, most parts of the u.s. have access to high speed internet connection..... See: SimCity, Diablo 3, World of Warcraft at Launch, Neverwinter, Starcraft II (Disconnects at major tournaments during the finals). So... Nope. **** always on online DRM
K_Kinnison Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 D3's online gold economy just hit the crapper. Someone found a gold exploit in the Auction house. DRM is just stupid. Online only DRM is stupider, never again will I buy a game with online DRM. TOR books removed it from all its media and has not had any increase in Pirating. In fact I know one author, David Weber, had a huge increase in sales when he offered up his First Honor Harrington novel "On Basilisk station" for free online.
edlib Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Long weekend off coming up. Yay. Today will be my last day working this stretch. I have only had one full day off since 4/20. Most of the days I have worked since then have been long and/or stressful. For example: today is easy, but I've been here since before 7:30 am, and will be here for another 3 or 4 hours. Burn out doesn't begin to describe it... Of course, it could have been worse: If it hadn't been for the marathon incident, I would have only had 2 full days off since 4/7.
