K_Kinnison
I got burned on SW:Galaxies. What I was hoping for was something beyond skill grinding. never really want to spend the money or time on other one. I prefer the open world games like Skyrim, and Fallout And work just got crappier. Seems the lack of spring screwed things up. we are going into out busiest season and are understaffed on Forklift operators. GOing to b working 6 days a week for 46 hours a week until the fourth of July. Only bright side is that instead of working 3pm to midnight i might get a chance to work first shift due to the fact another coworker is leaving next week for another job. Keyan Farlander
Powerball jackpot estimated @ $600M tonight...even I can't ignore that! I stopped ever buying Powerball tickets when then went up to $2 and the odds of winning the jackpot went down, but I have bought tickets the last couple of weeks. Sure the odds of winning are incredibly low, but it's fun to think about the fact that you could actually win that much money, and what you might do with it. That's worth a couple of bucks. Rogue15
getting depressed again...i think there's something seriously wrong with me but im way too cool to talk to a professional about it. i give myself about 3 months when i get home if nothing changes i'll look for some help. -_- i just have this feeling like when i get home that things won't be any different than back when i got home from basic...it may be nice and fun at first but 2 months later, the whole ****ing world and everything i care about will say **** you with the middle finger in my direction. i guess i just have to stay strong and not have a mental breakdown. maybe ill start going to church when i get home. idk what else to do. i'm usually optimistic about things, but the last time i pretty much fell off a cliff for someone it ****ing hurt me... i guess i learned something from a few hard earned lessons. i'll do good for myself, **** everyone else. step on toes to get ahead, no remorse. think i discovered why im feeling like this: vitamin deficiency. that's gotta be it. Rogue15
yeah im gonna when i get back home, i'm fine now but its weird like everytime i think about how things were back home, i get in that slump and just feel like there's no point. right now i'm fine though, optimistic as **** and hopeful, it's the times when i lose track of that is when it's tough. i got alot going for me, getting basic allowance for housing at sergeants pay for going to school, that plus state-wage unemployment for a year, plus drill pay, plus other stuff. counting my blessings, this deployment probably was the best thing ever happening to me as far as getting back on my feet and actually seeing a path to take when i get home. i'm an uncle to 2 nephews now and so i have that to look forward to lol...plus my place in scranton i made a layout of what i want to do with my room and how im going to turn it into the ultimate theatre/gaming lounge, and the livingroom im going to turn into a gym. K_Kinnison
Saturday I ran a Star wars Edge of the Empire game (New pen and paper RPG). My wife even enjoyed it. The first pre-gen game session went okay. They were trying to escape from Teemo the hutt, on a small spaceport way south from Mos Eisley called "Mos Shuuta". They easily defeated the first few gammoreans (as they should) and picked up the part they needed to make the ship that was available hyperspace capable. Then the tried to sneak into the control center but tripped an alarm when opening it. They had a short battle with the guard droids, and we able to intimidate the overseerer to release the ship. Then while running away from a small stormtrooper squad they made it to the docking bay. They try to Convince the trandoshen slaver they were their to install the part, but he knew they were lying and started blasting them. But he went down quickly. Then as they made preparations for take off while the Stormtroopers set up an E-web repeating blaster. Blasting off when 2 sets of 2 Tie Fighters started coming up. While one tried to instal the part, one got into the gunwell and the other started taking evasive maneuvers. The battle progressed to the point where they ship (A yt-1300 light frieghter) if it took one more hit it would be destroyed, and there was one TIE left. It missed and they were able to destroy it. and jump to hyperspace.

Well, it was a muscle or nerve or something. My doctor phoned in a prescription for a muscle relaxant that cleared it right up.

I knew that would get you! I wasn't impressed. I don't need more stupid ways to watch TV, and I don't care about the Kinect. It seems like they might have fixed the d-pad on the controller, though, which would be great. But I'm certainly not going to buy it until someone shows me an amazing game that I just have to play. The Gamecube had me at launch because of Rogue Leader. The X-Box 360 got me years after its launch with Mirror's Edge (though that was on the Playstation as well). What could this new system bring? A new Star Wars game, maybe? Something totally new? Nothing? Time will tell...
edlib
More Halo. I'm sure I'll get it at some point... but I doubt I'll be in the front of the line camping out. I mean: I already have 2 360s and a Kinect... and a whole bunch of titles I haven't played much that apparently won't work at all on the new machine (Dear Microsoft: that sucks!!!...) I'll try to stick with the old ones for as long as I can stand not being on the cutting edge.
