I would like to announce a small modding contest to encourage some friendly competition and new mods in the community. The challenge is to create a reskin or a model of an item, character, weapon, lightsaber, etc. Sign up in this thread by Saturday, June 21st! Updates should be posted in this thread. Contest will run until Saturday, July 19th. Entrants should submit a minimum of three screenshots of their mod. Voting will run for 1 week. For that matter, your descriptions sound a tad more ambitious than simple reskins. And in only a mere three weeks. Perhaps tone it back to something a bit more manageable. DarthParametric Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Perhaps have two categories, reskins and models. For reskins, characters probably make the most sense. Could be a head, clothes/armour, whatever. For models, weapons are pretty straightforward. Perhaps that could be split into two categories, completely new custom models, and altered vanilla models (for people that want to tackle heads, etc.). Types: Matukai: Green with white trim. Set up to be a good melee fighter Jedi Shadow: Black with white trim or option of purple instead of white. Bonus to stealth and sneak attacks. Jedi Battle Master: Brown with off white. Better damage resistance and good melee Jedi Watchman: Blue with white. Has Force Focus and Force Resistance. Dark Matukai: Black with green trim.
