Wilhuf
Matt you should donate some of that computing power to the great cause of public Jedi Outcast game servers!
matt--
hmmm... When my brother upgrades in the summer(or earlier), we're going to use his old 750mhz Athlon as a file server...or so he says... If there is a linux version of the server(any word on this?), you can bet money I'll run one! My cable actually is running fast recently(2500kps+ the other day) so it might not be that bad, especially overclocked! It could be the JK2.net clan server(assuming I make it of course)! acdcfanbill
buying your own system is cheep when you put it together and buy old stuff like me you get good deals on cards and whatnot that are a year old or so.... i splurged on a mobo and ram though... i bet everyone here would laugh if they saw the nine year old monitor and keyboard that came with my original Tandy 386 it maxes out at 800x600, oh well, at least games run good at low resolution.... arg... If you have a SCSI and a twin processor HDD then it is worth it.

Imp Destroyer
all i have is a laptop with: AMDK62 475 mhz 120 mb ram (actually 128 MB but 8 are used by graphics card) trident graphics card 5.3 GB hard drive (it says 6, but the comp says 5.3, damn computers say 1,014 bytes = 1 KB and so on, while we say 1,000 bytes = 1 KB) i only have about 1.05 gb left, may get an external usb drive Windows ME (regrets this, not paying money for XP) my home comp its embarasing(sp?) its dying so it won't be able to run JKII my bro thinks he is going to get a new comp before JKII comes out, yeah right, my dad probably won't let him, or take it over btw my bro is DG_Serendipity on the zone
