Hmmm, I didn't know it was due out at the end of this year. But you're right, I've heard very little about this game. But since it's from Bioware, it should be pretty good. I loved Baldur's Gate, so even if it's just Baldur's Gate with Star Wars, I'll be really happy.

no bioware are pretty good at delivering on time...rpg's own Raven studios...and the only thing that i know thats been confirmed is that it was gona use the new 3d engine that Never winter nights was using...so should be impressive but i still wana know how impressive...

I'd probably get it even if we heard nothing about it beforehand because of a few reasons. First, it is one of the first SW RPGs and I generally like RPGs. Second, if it is Baldurs Gate-like like everone says it is, then it ought to be good. Third I never played Baldurs Gate, so I won't be bored of that type of game. For those of you who wonder how point two and point three can coexist, no game with so much acclaim as Baldurs Gate could suck.

Go to http://www.bioware.com check out the KOTOR (or starwars) section and click on the link that leads to a preview....(of several upcomming SW games)

No pics or somesuch and its only the most basics of info on the game...but it's something right??

Oh and to clarify the game does NOT use the same engine as NeverWinter Nights.

But it is similar but far more advanced taking FULL advantage from 3d-cards such as GF3 and perhaps 4.

Some even said on the E3 that it perhaps looked better then SW: galaxies....just to give an indication as to what we are talking about here. ;)

This game is definitely on my list, because I want to control more Jedis at the same time and go againts armies of Sith Lords. :D I do have to admit that I haven't played much RPG games earlier(except Vampire: The Masquerade and first Fallout), but like it has been said before, this game tells us about timeline in a history of Star Wars that hasn't been covered earlier in games, so I'm very interested to see what developers will come up. It might even be much wanted "fresh" addition, because there are no Skywalkers or other familiar characters included, so Bioware/LEC will get almost total freedom to examine that ancient time and create totally new characters, droids, guns, ships etc.
