JR2000Z Posted March 30, 2002 Posted March 30, 2002 Anybody here playing it? On single player I got to the Nar Shadaa level. And its 3AM over here, and I just got back from my first muliplayer game on the Zone. Wow, its a good game.
Zargon Posted March 30, 2002 Posted March 30, 2002 SP is badass so far, I need to get far so I can have that saber...........
Ikhnaton Posted March 31, 2002 Author Posted March 31, 2002 got mine on friday, i've maybe put in about an hour's worth of play. still on the first level.
Cmdr. Cracken Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 i beat the single once, and doin' it again, full force through cheats from level 1 on. should be fun. and the MP is NUTS.
Rogue15 Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 They stole my computer!!! AAAAAHH!!!!!! why'd they have to send out that freak....if they would've sent out the guy who came twice BEFORE..........now the modem seems screwed and like it goes down once a day and i gotta reset it or something. first time it happened i thought VERY evil thoughts... o well, guess i'll be getting Clone Campaigns...
Admiral Odin Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I just beat the single player. I love this game.
GUNNER Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 I got mine last Thursday and I'm only into it about 30 minutes. That Jan needs to go back to the ship, she's slowing me down. Anyways, with the freetime I get it will take me 3 months to finish it.
Ikhnaton Posted April 3, 2002 Author Posted April 3, 2002 Gun-dog, she doesn't do that the whole game. in fact, on that level, she usually parks in front of a terminal. anyone gotten to the nar shadaa level? i'm kinda stuck and couldn't find anything on the JKII forums... of course, they are probably past it. I'm at the part where you go jump across to that "island" thing with the walkway around it.. the one where the walkway blow right before you go on it. how do you get to the other side? do you just have to jump real good or is there a switch of some kind i missed? can you get inside that room on the island?
Rogue15 Posted April 3, 2002 Posted April 3, 2002 http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/game/32648.html try that link, it has 3 walkthroughs listed.
Zargon Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 oooOOoooooh, I may just need that things, but I happily manages to get thru the second mission without it, stupid 'hop in the big drain pipe that moves and shoot something', yeah thanks datapad for telling me that one
Zoom Rabbit Posted April 8, 2002 Posted April 8, 2002 An R2 unit would be much more useful. I'm surprised they haven't made a computer that looks like one yet.
Cmdr. Cracken Posted April 8, 2002 Posted April 8, 2002 on http://www.jediknightii.net , they have a Single Player .pk3 file that is just lightsaber fights and force powers against the single player AI jedi's, which is alot better than those MP bots. It's AWSOME.
Rogue15 Posted April 8, 2002 Posted April 8, 2002 don't forget to get some skins at http://www.massassi.net
K_Kinnison Posted April 8, 2002 Posted April 8, 2002 does JK II turn into a game of mario, where you haev to force jump to all these unusal areas similar to JK?
Ikhnaton Posted April 8, 2002 Author Posted April 8, 2002 and what is wrong with that? and yes, there are puzzles where you have to force jump, or use other force powers in order to get ahead.
Zargon Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 you don't just to that unusual of places, you just to leap up to bridges and ledges previously unreachable, on top of large units of machinery and stuff thats laying around.........and man can you flllllllllllly
Deac Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 I'm at the final battle. The bad guy [not going to spoil it for any of you not there yet] is hard. Some of the puzzles are hellish. The part where you have to leap of the tram and force jump on the blocks over a huge drop whilst being fired at by stormtroopers with missile launchers is evil. There's a cool trick I did to beat it: Jump off the tram early, and snipe of the two troops whilst they fire at the tram!
Ikhnaton Posted April 9, 2002 Author Posted April 9, 2002 sure i was in god mode, but Desann went down pretty easy for me... I cut him down like a bunch of bananas after i force pulled him and i think he hit a wall behind me. he took a while to get up and i just cut him down cuz he was right there. what's the best is when you can stab backwards and kill a jedi
K_Kinnison Posted April 10, 2002 Posted April 10, 2002 then people worder why i used god mode, fly mode, and clipping to get thru the previos JK game. I want to do Jedi stuff, not bounce around liek an overweight plumber eating mushrooms
Rogue15 Posted April 10, 2002 Posted April 10, 2002 Originally posted by K_Kinnison I want to do Jedi stuff, not bounce around liek an overweight plumber eating mushrooms *me is bored* i think u meant overweight mushroom eating plumber. it sounds better anyways.. hey what u should try sometime is getting that saber battle x mod and typing either slowmo on or gospeedgo 1 it slows everything down, but it looks awesome when you throw a thermal detonator or slice someone with a lightsaber.
Zargon Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 nothing looks good in JK, that game made me want to puke the textures were so uuuuuuuuuugly
Ikhnaton Posted April 11, 2002 Author Posted April 11, 2002 just got my new geforece4 card with 64 megs ddr, and i'm getting 512 megs of system RAM funded by my job, so JKII is gonna be sweet!!
edlib Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 Grrrr! I don't want to know about it! Actually, I all I need is the GeForce4 card and I'm already there. I already have the 512 system memory. When my tax refund comes back I'm thinking of getting the Visiontek GF4 card with the 128 DDR video memory.
Deac Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 I completed it! Force speed, strong lightsaber style, he dies! I rock! Now to do it on something other than Padawan setting...
Rogue15 Posted April 11, 2002 Posted April 11, 2002 I'm going through MotS again...Dromund Kaas is creepy.
