If you live in Florida just goto the Bennigins at Tyrone mall and look for the 6'4 235lb guy with an Army Ranger tatoo on his right forearm at around 6:30 every thursday night. Thats me. Sith Maximus
Look at the way moves are done in the game. Take the yellow finishing move. It is forward+attack+jump, the same is of the dfa move and also part of the kick. You can make one key that will do all three of these things. Just press forward (hold the key down) then attack (hold the key down) and then jump (hold the key down. Now press the stop button. So you should have three commands with the time it took you to press the keys inbetween them. Now take the delay and make it 0.0 for all them. Then check the box for repeating the key over and over. Now if someone is close and you are in any stance just hold the key down and you will kick them. If you are in yellow and they get into range press the key and you will do a yellow finisher. If in red just hold it down and you will do a little skip jump and then the dfa. Thats it. Just make combos as you see fit. You can make blue lunge and backstab inkeys as well. Also you could make a spinning backstab in 1.03 but I never did. You would just have to set your yawspeed to 5000 before you did it and then adjust the delay until it worked. Use your imagination and some great combo moves for all games can come from this tool. Well now I posted this I guess someone else will flame me and try and pick a fight with me. Oh well...what can you do. Also if anyone does flame me I will not respond back. I am tired of explaining my position on this subject and it has evolved into a sort of personal crucifiction on my belief about scripts and what to use them for. So save a post, I just do not give a s**t anymore. Also if you have a real problem you can read the post above so you know where to find me. I always love a good fight, computer or otherwise. apotheosis
I've got a question: I saw this guy bunny hopping with rage/speed on. I watched him get across the map in only, like, 7 or so hops (on NS Streets). I've tried this myself and have never been able to do this. I've got a demo of him doing it. My question: Is it possible to script bunny hopping to go faster or just to script bunny hopping period?
its420onthedot
Sith, Wasn't talking to your ass. Read the threads. We did have an understanding. Was talking to remark_66, which opened his mouth dramatically. BTW, from the sounds of it, might be a good little battle outside that mall. 6 2, 220 right here, been lifting for 8 years, so I'm confident I can hold my own. But Sith, got no quarrels with ya. So chill... Remark? Like I said, the bottom of my shoe buddy

Lol sounds like me fubar again! This thread has got me sooo hot I just cannot see the woods through the trees anymore. Anyway peace bro.....but It would be quite a sight. I use to life but it made me too slow for hand to hand combat. As far as the bunnyhopping thing goes he was prob using force speed along with jump, both set at 3. If you time it right you can go really really far! As for a script I do not think one is needed, just time it right. Some things scripts just are not good for, this is prob one of them. Sith Maximus
I do not know why he included me in his little rant. I mad the offering to you! So if ya need me you know where to find me..............I got your back. Also back to scripts! Here is one to change your foprce powers. Just insert your force power numbers from the forcecfg/dark or light folder under your base directory into the spot provided for it. You can do one for each of the force power levels I provide. The model and saber color is included as well so change them as you see fit. Again another harmless script to help you change your force powers at respawn. This will NOT change your powers on the fly. //Power selector set p-1 "set forcepowers (PUT NUMBERS HERE); echo [^1DARK ^6JEDI ^6MASTER ^6POWERS^7]; forcechanged; model reborn_master/default; set color1 5; set powers vstr p-2" set p-2 "set forcepowers (PUT NUMBERS HERE); echo [^1DARK ^6JEDI ^6KNIGHT ^6POWERS^7]; forcechanged; model reborn_master/default; set color1 5; set powers vstr p-3" set p-3 "set forcepowers (PUT NUMBERS HERE); echo [^1DARK ^6JEDI ^6GUARDIAN ^6POWERS^7]; forcechanged; model reborn_master/default; set color1 5; set powers vstr p-4" set p-4 "set forcepowers (PUT NUMBERS HERE); echo [^4LIGHT ^6JEDI ^6MASTER ^6POWERS^7]; forcechanged; model luke/default; set color1 3; set powers vstr p-5" set p-5 "set forcepowers (PUT NUMBERS HERE); echo [^4LIGHT ^6JEDI ^6KNIGHT ^6POWERS^7]; forcechanged; model luke/default; set color1 3; set powers vstr p-6" set p-6 "set forcepowers (PUT NUMBERS HERE); echo [^4LIGHT ^6JEDI ^6GUARDIAN ^6POWERS^7]; forcechanged; model luke/default; set color1 3; set powers vstr p-1" set powers "vstr p-1" bind (your key here)"vstr powers" Hope it helps you save a little time at respawns. This works very well in ctf games!
remark 666
I want to know 2 things -how to bind names to a key (for quick name changes) and -bind ` for console as a key only ? Sith Maximus
Do the console just like Quake 3: bind ~ "toggleconsole" bind ` "toggleconsole" Name change: //Name set name-1 "set name (your name here); set my-name vstr name-2" set name-2 "set name (your name here); set my-name vstr name-1" set my-name "vstr name-1" bind (your key here) "vstr my-name" Hope those work ok for you. Robrob
Here is another great bind/script. It kills everyone on the server except for you. Try it out n00bs. what you do is press shift and ~ (tilde) to bring up the console command line. Then type: bind p kill now hit escape to escape the console. now hit "p" repeatedly to rack up the kills. Enjoy n00bs!!!
yeppi
you realy thin u r funny?! mhm, okay... but, here i have to say, some of the scripts are really nice, but they aren't the reason for a everytime win... i tested them on my server and with guys who knowed about, but if u can't play this game, u can't use scripts. so... Plumo
I messed around with some binds( not really knowing up from down:explode: ) and now the number one key doesn't sheath my saber anymore:eek: . I thought binds were supposed to wipe clean after you shutdown the game but in this case it sure as hell didn't. I even went so far as to do wipe the game and do a clean install and still doesn't work?!?!?! . Please someone help me, I'm completely in the dark over here. pr0ph3t
Hello! Does anyone know how (through scripting) to keep the teams from getting reconfigured everytime you start a new map or restart a level? I cannot find a way through the game setup, and I've not been able to figure it out yet in the console. I want my teams to remain the same from map to map. thanks! Evolution
The only reason anyone should want a script is for changing options from the menu or neat stuff But if you're using scripts for binds that do the saber techniques or chained moves for you, then you may as well get cs and get away. thehomicidalegg
Plumo: well unbind all then rebind the keys eg. unbind all bind A "+moveleft" bind B "use_bacta" bind C "+force_lightning" bind D "+moveright" bind E "force_pull" bind F "force_seeing" bind G "force_speed" ... and so on also try to set the binds in a .cfg file in your base directory, its easier than doing it in the console

Aside from that, thanx for all the script enhancements I've picked up. The binds will stay until you unbind them, & reinstalling will still leave them if you choose to keep saved games & config files. The easiest way to fix this is to just unbind the #1 key. In console, type: unbind 1 Then you can go back into the setup menu & assign the number 1 button to your saber again. This should fix it. You can do this with each key that is messed up, or if there are too many, then do as egg said & type: unbind all This will start you from scratch with every thing unbound including the options in the setup menu. I think this would be more up to the admin. But if you are the admin I have not found out a way as of yet to make these settings work. If someone leaves and you have it set to balance the teams but then you want the teams to stay the same it could cause a major glich. If anything could be done it may be through a cvr in the console. But I think your sol on this one.
