WolfmanNCSU Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 I hear more complaints and bad reviews than good ones with that game. I am going to stay away from it personally, you may want to do the same.

WCIII has gotten nothing below a 90% out of all of the credible reviewers such as IGN, GameSpy, GameSpot, PCGamer, Computer Games, and more. I'm personally addicted to it.
Fishflesh Posted July 29, 2002 Author Posted July 29, 2002 pesonly i like empire earth its all strategy games in one its a great game i think you can go in the middel age in the world war 1 and 2 and even in the future whit lazars and stuf the only thing the game is defenty not is oridinal but gb is not oridinal to sorry about my english some good reviews http://www.gamingexcellence.com/pc/games/00048/index.shtml http://www.mgon.com/reviews.phtml?id=113016&language=en http://www.gamespy.com/reviews/november01/empireearth/ http://www.elecplay.com/review.html?article=7587#mr_toppy and a movie ftp://ftp.sierra.com/pub/goodies/media/si_empireearth_trailer_300k.wmv now show me some bad reviews , i think there hard to find
WolfmanNCSU Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 Sorry, I meant that EE has had many bad reviews, more than good ones. Check for a demo and give it a try first before buying or passing on the game. Give that a try.
Ansible Posted July 29, 2002 Posted July 29, 2002 EE is a great game, in my opinion. The 3D engine is awesome (I like the zoom ability) , and it has a lot of options you can't do in normal RTS games. Like tell you troops to go somewhere, while stopping to attack enemies on the way (I would create an army and tell it to go to the other side of the enemies base, completely wiping them out…sometimes), you can create a path for a scout, army, whatever to take, you can even tell your scout...to well scout which makes it go to all the unexplored areas. And, unlike Age of Empires, you can go from the Prehistoric age, all the way to the Nano Age. Like Wolfman said, get the demo and try it out, it's really a great game .

Treacherous Mercenary Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 I've had some problems enough to take it back and get SW:GB back then which was a mistake once again ..
Crazy_dog no.3 Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 Don't wanna be rude, but I think that the Egyptians looking like the English is a bit silly.
Fishflesh Posted August 1, 2002 Author Posted August 1, 2002 i have the game for 2 days now and thill this far its great i realy like the prophets vulcano earthqwake enz

Clefo Posted August 3, 2002 Posted August 3, 2002 EE is not my cup o tea, but whatever.. I suggest picking up Red Alert 2 without thinking about one named Delphi...
Treacherous Mercenary Posted August 3, 2002 Posted August 3, 2002 Grrr.... RA2 has long died because of the damn support WW gave it... Downgrade this, downgrade that. It was good for a while until downgrades to units started happening (making them useless). If you want a game like EE, get AOK and AOK:TC. It's worth the money imo and specs are relatively low .
Fishflesh Posted August 5, 2002 Author Posted August 5, 2002 This game is Great It is the best engine for GB 2
Young David Posted August 5, 2002 Posted August 5, 2002 It's not ... EE is nothing special ... It puts too many new elements into a game ... it gets boring pretty quick
Crazy_dog no.3 Posted August 5, 2002 Posted August 5, 2002 It's not that, it's just all civs look the same. Now THIS is what u really want.
COJ Posted August 6, 2002 Posted August 6, 2002 give EE credits, first game with zoom in with the scroll...plus the Nano ages are pretty cool..and the H-Bomb is fun, I like using it on girafes......lol and I think WC3 is horrible...dont know how people play it and if anybody wants to play m/p, im up for it...
Fishflesh Posted August 6, 2002 Author Posted August 6, 2002 so what every civ looks the same in age of empires it is to and in gb is every unit the same only a diffrent look by the way there is coming an Expansion for EE and this : Named Game of the Year by multiple publications, Empire Earth has set a new standard for real-time strategy games. Control the destiny of a fledgling civilization through 500,000 years of human history. Choose any point in time and establish a civilization to transcend the ages and dominate the earth.
Kryllith Posted August 7, 2002 Posted August 7, 2002 *quietly sits by and waits for Age of Mythology to be released...* Kryllith
TheMadDoofer Posted August 7, 2002 Posted August 7, 2002 EE was fun but it would always crash when I tried to exit. One of the best things to do was nuking hippos with my nuclear subs.
polaris_crd Posted August 15, 2002 Posted August 15, 2002 I bought EE the same day I did SWGB, and EE is one of the worse RTS games I've ever played. Its boring. Very, very, very Boring. Its slow, and boring. Oh did I mention BORING?
Fishflesh Posted August 15, 2002 Author Posted August 15, 2002 yes but you did not metion why? becose your computer is to slow for it
