Multiplayerism

Hey, I just sent a email to Factor 5 about Rogue Leader. I love the game and all but me and a lot of my friends at skool would really love it if they released a fully multiplayer game. Not a one player standard mission pack like RS1 and 2 or BfN. Just a fully multiplayer game with all the fighters you could think of from the X-Wing to the TIE Fighter and more. So if Factor 5 / Lucas Arts were to bring out a game like that what would you think? I'm thinking that it would be based on the Rogue Leader engine and worked from there. I would think that it'd rock. It's one thing to play against an AI, it's something else to play against a friend.

well they could do that.. they SHOULD do that.

But does the gamecube have the abbilaty to work on the net? Xbox and PS2 have.... andf ofcource the good old PC!

Yes, Nintendo will be releasing a modem and a broadband adapter anytime soon and I've been studying the underside of my GameCube and I think the GameCube is able to link itself to other GameCubes locally. So people could possibly have 8 player battles (4 players on 2 tvs) or 2 to 4 player battles with 1 player on each tv... it's possible i tellz ya.

i already know that PS2 has a modem + 40gb HD expansion (to make ps2 a full tower puter (minus the keyboard and mouse (usb) that you have to buy )

but id but that first before a mutliplay game (for obious reasons)

Of course it should have multiplayer, that's the one thing wrong with it. I want to go up against someone that could put up a fight. Not that many people could put up a fight against me.

Yeah, they should have multiplayer, that's what always irritated me. No replayability due to lack of multiplayer.

if i had a choice of any GC game being made into multi, then SSm would be much higher on my list...though just think of a endor battle with human pilots...

ehehe i noticed a couple o funny things with endor in rogue leader... firstly once u unlock the falcon and fly that in endor you'll find that their are TWO of em flying around, you and the one Lando's in!... plus i was mucking around and was following Lando around trying to kill him and noticed that he bumps into all the capital ships... bleah not very good piloting

hmm, i get to folow wedge in his infernaly weakly sheilded x-wing when using the MF on that mission:confused:
