Darth Groovy
I was more industrial than just techno. The stuff I listened too was really of the wall. Try Haujobb, Download, Wumpscut, or Acumen.
Reb Starblazer
If you want some really "different" techno, try E Nomine. It's in german, but it's really cool. I really like it, but that's not saying much:D Otherwise, I'd just suggest stuff like Orbital, Paul Oakenfold, Yakooza, Paul Van Dyk, Robert Miles... just to name a few. leXX
Well Darky, you hit the nail on the head m8, I had Freestyler as my mobile ringing tone for months! I do like some rave music, for instance, atm I'm listening to Underworld - Two Months Off, which is a great tune.

zworqy
Anyone heard of the techno group 666? It's a german group singing in spanish and english. You should have heard the super hit "Amokk" from 1998 at least. Some great lyrics: "You better dance to disco if you don't like rock!" "If you want some party - push the beat to the maxx!" "Back once again, back in full effect, get down 2 the jam, get up to 2 da track Back once again, back in full effect, jam on da brakes, 666 is back!" Pvt_Dancer
Paul Van Dyke is deffinitely excellent and if you don't listen to Orbital I feel sorry for your ears. Another fave of mine is BT. I was listening to "Ride" on the way to work yesterday.... perfect. Check out the song "Windowlicker" or "Nannou" by Aphex Twin. Oh and some oldschool... classic but timeless... Messiah.
