Taos
I'm really not a big fan of polls but I felt this subject needed to have one. Ok, we now have seen the special features from ep 2. IMO they weren't that good, I mean they could have been better.... After ep 3 is done and they are ready to put the OT on to dvd...... Do you think that they will include in the special features, all of the sceens that we wanted to see, into this big 6 pack of dvd's for a "special edition" release? <examples: Dooku with two sabers, Plo & Ki-Adi raiding the droid control ship> Please vote and your thoughts.... Wes Marrakesh
However much we want them to I don't think they will. It's a lot of extra work to do special features at all, and a lot of featuresx6=a pretty large amount of work.
PhantomHelix
yeah! dooku with two sabers would be cool! and then they can show diff ideas that never made it, like a 3-blade saber or sometihn.....
Kstar__2
it would be nice to have that, but it should not only include scenes from EP2, i'd also like to see some documentarys about ep IV-VI:D
StormHammer
Personally...I hope that Lucas looks long and hard at these prequel movies, and does what he did with the Classic trilogy...make some adjustments. I think the better approach would be to make a 7 DVD pack...the last disk for all the major documentary-type stuff, production stills, artwork, etc...and with that bit of extra space on the film disks, actually insert the deleted scenes back into the films, to make them special editions. I have to say that 9 times out of 10, I prefer special editions that include extra footage as part of the film, rather than tagged on the end. It's a little different when there is a different version of a particular scene...but when scenes are just cut out, and are relevant to the plot, then put them back in, I say. Ratmjedi
I just finished watching it. If you think about it Padamine When Ep I came out they had a lot of extra time to put a lot of stuff on the DVD. I am happy with what they did. I can't complain. I do hope that they do something like that or else I think some of us Swampies including ET Warrior and me are going to have to break into LF and take those scenes. Hehehehehehehehe! teutonicknight
I personally want all the special features in the 6 pack DVD, but not really the long wait. Think about it. The wait for the Ep 1 DVD was extremly long. Multiply that by 6, and think of the wait for the 6 pack DVD....
ET Warrior
Yeah.......a break in!! I will probably cry if i never see in my life the assault on the droid control ship.....that would be the coolest scene in film history.
Taos
I agree with you Stormy.....a 7th disc would be great! I'm not sure why GL didn't add a few extra sceens into the ep 2 dvd like he did with ep 1. Originally posted by kstar__2 it would be nice to have that, but it should not only include scenes from EP2, i'd also like to see some documentarys about ep IV-VI:D I would like to see stuff from all of the movies myself Kstar.......I was just using those as examples. You want a 7 disc set? Ha! I will be laughing in you face when I parade around you with my 13 disc set! Explaination of my coments: Each movie needs 2 discs, 1 for the movie and one for the extra features, so times the 6 movies by 2, thats 12 discs, plus one extra one.
