I have so many it’s hard to say just one so I’ll make a list of my favourites

Please please me

Can’t buy me love

Love me do

Eight days a week

Twist & shout

Paperback writer

We can work it out

I am the walrus

Don’t let me down

Sgt pepper’s

Ticket to ride

Lucy in the sky

Let it be

:D

i heard that yoko ono wants to take paul to court because in his new album he put 'written by paul McCartney and john lennon' instead of the traditional 'written by lennon & McCartney

She shouldnt make such a big deal over it. She should ask herself "Would John want me to do this"?

i think john lennon would've just laughed,

but then we all know what a strong influence she was on him

In My Life

There are places I remember

All my life though some have changed

Some forever not for better

Some have gone and some remain

All these places have their moments

With lovers and friends I still can recall

Some are dead and some are living

In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers

There is no one compares with you

And these memories lose thier meaning

When I think of love as something new

Though I know I'll never lose affection

For people and things that went before

I know I'll often stop and think about them

In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection

For people and things that went before

I know I'll often stop and think about them

In my life I love you more

In my life I love you more...

Personal fave, a more famous Beatles song that you have probably all heard of...

Hey Jude

(John Lennon, Paul McCartney)

Lead Vocal: Paul McCartney

Hey Jude, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better

Remember to let her into your heart

Then you can start to make it better

Hey Jude, don't be afraid

You were made to go out and get her

The minute you let her under your skin

Then you begin to make it better

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain

Don't carry the world upon your shoulders

For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool

By making his world a little colder

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah

Hey Jude, don't let me down

You have found her, now go and get her

Remember to let her into your heart

Then you can start to make it better

So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin

You're waiting for someone to perform with

And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do

The movement you need is on your shoulder

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah yeah

Hey Jude, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better

Remember to let her under your skin

Then you'll begin to make it

Better better better better better better, oh

Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude

Nah nah nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey Jude (fade out)

I like a couple of the off-the-wall classics like:

"Come Together" - The song don't make a lick of sense, but it's fun when your drunk at the bar on kareoke night, and still super cool!

"Don't Let Me Down" - It at times seems they may have wrote this in the bathroom on the way to the studio with lyrics like "nobody ever done me like she do me, she done me good", still it's kind of a sad song, considering it was one of they're last, and the keyboard kind of gave it that genuine rythm and blues quality.

"She Said, She Said" -Song has a resounding infections distorted guitar loop with some cool sloganeering; "she said you know what it's like to be dead" , probably the only Beatle's tune I never heard anyone cover, at least not yet!

"Julia" - A song by John written about his mother after her passing, very soft and sad. "Half of what I say is meaningless, but I say it just to reach you, Julia". Clearly a diamond among the Lennon ballads.
