Cantina 9-The Last Hope

Kioet: It's starting to come back now...About five years ago during a trip to Kuat to seek employment, my ship, a Z95 at the time, was somehow pulled out of hyperspace. And what I saw was not familiar to me at all. I remember landing my ship to go investigate. I'm not sure how I got back though. It's all hazy like trying to remember a dream.

Chi: "We have multiple objectives. But I'm not allowed to speak of any of those whom are not offically contracted."

*Places a single sheet of paper on the table between the two, and sets a pen down beside it.*

Chi: "That garentees your secretcy, and other "advantages" for being apart of our faction... Until you sign this contract, I 'm afraid I can not disclose any information."

((Red: SW does have cyborgs (remember Lobot from ESB) they could do that))

Odin: Yes I know of them, in fact we posses half of the blood scrolls.

Which brings me to the reason why I wanted to talk to you. The Blood Scrolls were written in conjuction with the Norns and mages from your dimension. In the scrolls they mention a race of beings called the Jotuns. The only things that were said about them was that they were evil and powerful. At that time it served as a warning for the mages. Now it is the reason why dimensional travel to this dimension must be limited.

The Aesir, for centuries have contained the Jotuns and amoung other things guarded this galaxy from them and other threats. In containing the Jotuns we eliminated all knowledge of them in this dimension. The scrolls only mention them since they were not in this dimension. We couldn't and can't risk anyone trying to seek them out and free them. For if they released it would spell disaster for this galaxy.

Now we do not know who possed these scrolls before they came into your hands. So we do not know who else from your dimension knows that they exist.

With that said, now I can clarify why exactly dimensional travel must and will be limited. With each crossover there contains the possiblity and risk, no matter how remote that the person coming here contains knowledge and desire to free the Jotuns. At the moment the risk is small and acceptable, however if there are more crossovers than the risk will increase and that is not acceptable. As such I cannot, willnot allow that to happen.

Now to the second point. Do not tell Starkiller, or anyone in this galaxy about the Jotuns. Fore if you do then you will have forfeited their lives.

Finally to my last issue. Very recently war almost broke out between us and your blades. When three blades crossed over and landed on Tatoonie. Three Valkyries intercepted them. Upon interception the blades were informed that we were the guardians of this galaxy. After that the Valkyries then asked the Blades why they were here. The Blades denied that this galaxy had Guardians, and refused to tell the Valkyries why they were on Tatoonie. To make this short. The blades drew their weapons, and threatened the lives of the Valkyries. THe Blades were informed that attacking the Valkyries would consitute an act of war. The situation remained tense until the Valkyries gave the blades the sword or their target as proof that he was no longer in the area.

I suggest you inform your superiors that this galaxy does have guardians, any attack on us would be regarded as an act of war. I also recommend that in the future the Blades be a little more cooperative to my people. I would like to avoid a war.

Now you can ask any questions or tell me anything you want. Oh here is a recording of the incident.

*Odin hands Rwos a disk*

*Rwos doesn't say anything. He simply plays the disk, then sighs*

Rwos: *mutters* Ida... *aloud* This isn't something I was expecting. This could be worse than I thought.

Those three Blades are a special class. They're called Executioners. Blades made to capture or kill Blades. Their presence here means that there's a rogue Blade in this dimension...a dangerous one, if three were sent.

As for your request, I can't tell the Blades about you. If I claim this dimension has a race of guardians, then they'll want to investigate you. Some of you will have to visit the Blade High Council, and a contigent will be sent to investigate you. From the information in the Scrolls, you rule a very private race. I expect you don't want to give all that up to the Blades just so they - we - accept that you are the guardians of this dimension and let you run things. I don't want more interference here anymore than you do. That's why I've kept you a secret. If you want total cooperation, then your secrets are the price you'll have to pay.

Oh, and if they find out about the destruction your people caused that lead to the incident with the Time Matrix, I can guarantee they won't accept you. That, actually, brings me to the reason I wanted to talk to you...

Rwos: The Blood Scrolls. They're in the possession of a group of trusted friends who have been trying to translate them. What you told me of your people reminded me of things mentioned in the Scrolls. Realizing the Scrolls referenced this dimension as well as mine allowed my friends to make a minor breakthrough in the translation.

Turns out there was plenty in there. Stuff about the Time Matrix, the rise of the Sith, the 'Galactic Holocaust', the Aesir and the Jotuns. That holocaust? It was supposedly undone by what Ken'atra did with the Time Matrix. But according to the Scrolls, not everything.

Rwos: The Scrolls refer to something called the Troklon. "Raised up from darkness to bring darkness." The Troklon is a sequence of events that apparently started about...ten years ago, here, with a birth. My friends haven't finished the translations, but it refers to something of purely good being born from pure evil. A girl with "eyes of fire and ice". The prophecy stated the Aesir would know of this girl, and when she was ten years old they would destroy the stars and inadverdantly, I think, forge...something. My friends were a little fuzzy on this point, but they think that this something that would cross into the world repaired by the Time Matrix...this one. And when they did, the second apocalypse would be set in motion.

*Rwos looks at Gerd. She looks back, and Rwos realizes*

Rwos: Her eyes...

---------

Farran: Maybe someone erased your memory. Maybe I can help with that...

*The fluid drains from the room, and Artemis' voice speaks again*

Artemis: Decon finished. Flushing the stuff now.

Farran: Good.

*The wall in front of Farran and Kioet opens*

----------

*At the address on Deac's card, someone has already arrived*

Chi: "Yes and no. When and if you quit, or even retire. Your still have to keep everything here under raps. Other then that, I'm sure that the planets the we occpy, that you could keep to yourself. how ever you will always keep an implant in you telling us where you are, at all times. jsut for security, and if you are to become deceased, nothing more. Even I have one of those." *points a spot where the implat would go in the armpit.*

Chi: "Other then that, one more thing this contract, hardly means anything, Tear it up afterwards. All it matters if you sign that or not. Either way this conversation isn't being monitored, for that purpose of you desiding signing it." *points to a camera mounted in the upper corner of the room.* "it's not on yet though. It will, when I say it to be, only to have evidence of you signing it. Sorry for that, i did how ever forgot to mention it."

*Odin nods*

Odin to Gerd: Thank you. You may go now.

*Gerd leaves not really knowing what that was about*

Odin: There can only be one true apocalypse. Other events may only come close to it. As I said before the apocalypse for this galaxy is still very far away Events of Ragnarok where set in motion at the begining of time, so there are a few possilities

1: This foreshadows a disaster that will befall this galaxy.

2: The Apoclaypse will occur in your dimension.

3: The Apoclaypse can refer to the death, of a single powerful creature/being.

Now please, ask all of your questions at once.

*Deac arrives at the address. It is in a high-rise apartment building. A woman, clad in black stands at the balcony.*

Deac: You're not Rwos.

Woman: Duh!? I thought you'd be smarter, and a bit better looking. I imagined the great Starkiller as a man of imposing stature. Instead I find half a robot who hasn't shaved or showered in days.

*Deac ignites his sabers. It was the "robot" that pushed him over the limit*

Deac: So talk.

Woman: Rwos will be late. I'm going to kill you before he gets here.

*The woman draws two daggers and leaps at Deac*

Chi: "Sure. I can allow it. But I have that Irvine here would accompany you. Again for security reasons."

-----------

*The woman jumps. Steadly she falls, Deac waits. Suddenly a figure rapidly flys and intersepts her from behind, she fights a litte, but the figure goes right for her neck, biting and drinking.*

*Both fall to the ground, the impact nearly kills the woman. both daggers clang to the pravement. The vampire lets go, admiring his attack, allowing his prey to live a little more before he kills her.*

Vampire: *to Deac* "Sorry. Got hungry..."

((What can I say Deac, the guy's gotta eat. ;) ))

------------

*sitting at the same table, sat a dark shadowy figure, not seen by anyone. The figure was just watching the meeting...*

((OOS: That was really very lame, Scar. Nice godmoding...not supposed to control other people's characters, remember? But oh well. You've provided an introduction point for my "someone".

If Deac decides to ignore your whole thing with the assassin I'll change this post))

Rwos: I know. I asked them about that. Turns out Ragnarok is mentioned in the Scrolls as well. Alot hazier information wise, but it told of some of the same things happening that you told me about, enough that I'm convinced they were talking about the same thing. According to the Scrolls, Ragnarok is the ultimate apocalypse, a culmination that cannot be stopped, only delayed. It can even be delayed till "the twilight of life fades on the horizon." In other words, the rest of the galaxy isn't even required to be around for it to happen. Now I have a vested interest in making sure this universe doesn't collapse in on itself before this Ragnarok of yours comes along. Because according to what you said before...that's the only time the innocents have a chance at being saved.

As for your possibilites: the apocalypse is definitely going to occur here. The one that would affect both our dimensions was the first apocalypse...the one your people created to try to save you. Guess our fates really were more important than I thought. As for your third guess...why do you suggest that?

----------

*An axe-bladed object flies out of the shadows, hitting the vampire's neck and exploding. The body's head falls off and explodes into dust*

*A woman's voice speaks from the shadows*

Voice: Deac Starkiller. I knew one of you would come...but I wasn't expecting it to you. Traitor.

*The woman steps out. It's Ida*

Ida: *looking down at the assassin's body* They were somewhat of a suprise, however. No matter. *Ida holds up one of Rwos' teleporter beacons and steps over to Deac* Your people have been tracking our teleporters. You're going to tell me why.

((What can I say? Blade vs. murderous vampire with his back turned...hope he's got another body handy ;)))

((Well Scar from the structure of your post I assume you mean that the shadowy figure was watching the Odin and Rwos. If so then that is not possible. However since you are unclear as to the location. The figure could be watching Chi, Irvine, ect. For that reason I won't go anyfurther as to why it is impossible))

Odin: Yes, yes I know that the scrolls mention Ragnarok. I took part in writting the scrolls. Especially the part about Ragnarok. *under his breath* I paid dearly for that information.

No reason, just that sometimes the powerful believe when they die it will be the end of the universe.
