we got a new tree saturday, artificial: lights up with rotating stand. we decided it was too late this year to decorate, so it is just lit up and rotating in the room.

I've got a uselessly extravagant star on top. It has little fiber-optic wires bristling from it. They don't actually do much, though. That would have been good in a commercial for it:

i got a star on my star wars tree upstairs and a angel on our familys tree in the livving room

I have an all Star Wars Hallmark Christmas Tree. Until I find a Star Wars type tree topper, it's a lighted star.
