Wraith 8 Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 I mean... im changing to another page.. another thread.. or even to reply.... and on each change of the page... i get 2 pop ups..... its extremely anoying. everytime... my menu is full with screens from pop ups...... there used to be one pop up once in a while..... i could handle that.... but this is unbearable. -Wraith 8-

We would just remove all the ads, but every single template has to be changed inorder to do that. (That takes about... 6 hours of contstant work for one person.) We hope that UGO has the ads fixed by tonight or tommorow morning at the worst.
Lynk Former Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 actually i have a problem too... well it's not really a bad problem from a certain point of view... but anywayz... all your ads seem to have stopped showing for me. All i get now from your ads are "The page cannot be displayed" messages... everyone of them... I'm glad for this in one way cause the pages load faster but in another way it's hard to click back cause the back button is filled with failed ads that should have popped up and I have to click back several times to actually get back to the last page i was in I have no Idea why this has happened... it just started one day... *shrugs* ah wellz, no biggie...

Are you using Kazaa[lite]? I found that it started doing that to me for no apparent reason... The only solution was to turn Kazaa off... Didn't have time to see if a re-install fixed it, cos I got WinXP Pro very soon after and nuked my 98SE hard drive @Wraithy - http://www.proxomitron.org might be of use... ^_^

Young David Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 As a mozilla user ... I have no glowing names ... BUT I have no pop-ups either Browsing is a pleasure because I turned that little bad javascript feature off. Pop ups are bad. UGO is bad ... but I've already complained about them.

Aristotle Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 All fixed. UGO fixed the problem this morning. Now you should only see ONE pop per user session.. then you can post and read your hearts away without seeing any pops at all for the rest of your session.
