lukeiamyourdad Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I heard it was gonna be: "Star Wars Episode III: The Evil Within" It could be something else because the source is not 100% reliable but at last 70% so it might be that.
ZBomber Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I hope we find out what species Yoda is in the next film!

JediNyt Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Hayden Christensen is bugging George to let him be in the suit. Hope he gets his wish.
Andy867 Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Originally posted by yours truly, Andy867 Actually, Episode 3 takes place 3 years after Episode 2. And Rick McCallum says that the star wars film is in real-time, which was confusing the interviewer at the moment, but then rick mccallum says. Episode 3 is being released 3 years after episode 2. The Clone Wars lasted 3 years. The Clone Wars are being fought as we speak. Also, Ewan McGregor confirmed that he and Hayden made a pact to begin severe training nearing the time they will spend in New Zealand so that they will make their fight spectacular. Also, Rick McCallum confirms that Boba Fett is still a child has not really begun his trip into being a bounty hunter, as he cannot fit into the armor yet. So, Boba's roll in Episode 3, according to McCallum, will be very minor. Samuel L Jackson sat down with G.L. about how Mace will be killed off. Jackson told Lucas that Windu, being the strongest jedi in terms of fighting, shouldn't be killed like some punk. He wants to die a dramatic death, and lucas says he doesn't know how he wants to kill off Mace, but he will make it grand. So, who knows what will happen, least he won't get killed by the Fett. Nor will he be killed by Dooku, since according to fact around the Star Wars universe, it is known that mace in fact is better fighter of himself and Yoda. Yoda is just more in-tuned to the Force. So, I have a feeling that it will be a more revengeful fight of Anakin and Mace, or even Sidious showing his true power. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those are ALL Confirmed facts for Episode 3 quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Again originally posted by Yours Truly, Andy867 what to expect in Episode 3: "- ObiWan and Anakin will fight - The Emperor will take control of the galaxy - Anakin will become Dartth Vader - Yoda will end up stranded on Dagobah - Obi Wan Kenobi will change his name to "Ben" and become a hermit on Tatooine." Rick McCallum also notes that there will be yet ANOTHER showcase of spectacular lightsaber battles. "...Rick McCallum expects that Episode III will again showcase spectacular lightsaber battles. "Im not only expecting it, I'm looking forward to it." He demurs when asked how Lucas and stunt coordinator Nick Gillard could possibly top the Jedi fight scenes in Attack of the Clones, but reminds us, "Episode III is the last one, so no-holds barred now." "James Earl Jones to Voice Darth Vader Again at ORT Toronto..." STARLOG: What about Boba Fett? LUCAS: “Boba WILL be in Episode III, but his role definitely won’t be larger. He’s in a transition period of becoming a bounty hunter. The next film takes place two or three years later, so Boba would only be 13 and still wouldn’t fit in the suit." WHich means that there is a 99.9% Chance that he won't kill Mace Windu... SORRY!!! But Mace Windu IS going to die, and according to my research, it will be a very spectacular death. "Samuel L. Jackson talks about his exit in EP3, "I don't think I'm going out like some, some girl. I gotta go down, you know, in a blaze of glory. It (EP3) will lead perfectly into what we know as, you know, the original." E! Daily News interviewed Star Wars creator George Lucas and finally got an answer on the mystery surrounding what R2-D2 and C-3PO should and shouldn't remember of their adventures in the prequels. "Well, one, his brains have, his memory system has been erased and so has R2's. So, they don't remember anything from the first trilogy. I'm telling you something from Episode III, but I shouldn't be telling you that, but I think most of the fans already know that." So, C3PO and R2 both get their memory chips erased somehow. "Nov 10, 2002; Italian newspaper reports on local cameraman shooting volcano "footage" for Ep3" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The tenative release date for Episode 3 is scheduled for May 25th, 2005 according to my research How's THAT for dirt on episode III?!?
Wraith 8 Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 LOL... you know.. i was counting the years and so.. and i came up with about 4 years after episode 2 .. i see my calculations were close
lukeiamyourdad Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I don't think Hayden Christensen should be in the suit... isn't he too small?
Andy867 Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 Its been confirmed that Hayden will undergo some extensive workouts to put more weight and buff onto him to project a better resemblance of Darth Vader. So, not to worry my young padawan.
wassup Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 Samuel L. Jackson talks about his exit in EP3, "I don't think I'm going out like some, some girl." lol that is such a sexist remark if I ever saw one...

lukeskywalker1 Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 Originally posted by Sn1P3r JeD1 lol, I just hope GL DOES make 7 thru 9 he wont the point of star wars was for anakin to bring balance to the force, he did that in 6 so theres no need for 7-9. if he did they would be about the Jedi Acadamy which would be sort of boring watching people train to become jedi. the rest of star wars is in video games now.
Taos Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 Yeah Andy I'd say that is some pretty damn good info there. I was hoping that Boba wasn't going to be involved in the death of Mace.......thank the stars for that.
Andy867 Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 I heard a similar quote that Sam L. Jackson didn't want to be killed of like some punk. But still, not exactly a way a Jedi master of his caliber should be killed off. how bout Anakin finishing him off, and just like in Episode 1, Obi-wan gets an andrenaline rush and goes after anakin, hence the reason for anakin getting mortally wounded
Parrakarry Posted January 10, 2003 Posted January 10, 2003 I've read what is supposedly the script... can't find the link though. "Twilight of the Republic"... now that's a nice name, neh?
ZBomber Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 This can be moved to the SPoiler board for Ep. 3
Andy867 Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 I went ahead and merged the threads of So, Anyone got any dirt on EpIII, and Any news on Episode 3. That way there isn't 2 threads talking about the same subject (less congestion) and easier to recall what one may have said in the what used to be "other ep3 thread".
Tyrion Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 >_< Now Sivy get's the credit.... >_< Oh well... Edit- So the first ever post in this forum is in a thread merged with one from another forum... Cool.
Notion Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 That's some nice info. Maybe Mace could be walking along some thin rocky bridge 3 feet above a lava pit and accidentally take a bad step.
