Kstar__2
i've been wondering this for a long time, are the people that post in the swamp progressive or not? so do you find yourself progressive or conservative? for the people that don't know what it means: Progressive: you want things to change, you want progress. conservative: you want things to stay as they are. i'm progressive

lukeskywalker1
i think some things should change in the swamp but others should stay the same. once in a while u find a really good thread and its up for a week or longer.
Kstar__2
looks like i didn't make my point clear, i edited my first post, it's about the people that post in the swamp (no offence btw, it was my mistake)

Kstar__2
it's not about the quantity, it's about the quality;) new people often only look at post count, and how to get theirs as high as possible, but it's what you say in your posts that gives you status. Taos
I consider myself progressive.....I think that things can be fixed yet still so I want things to change. Change is inevitible anyways, so why fight it?

-s/<itzo-
most likely change is for the better. so i guess i'm Progressive (whats next, democrats or republicans?)
Kstar__2
democrats=progressive republicans=conservatif (not entirely true, but it's true most of the times)
Breton
I guess I am progressive, but I don't want the things to change too fast, instead changes should come bit by bit, so that no one will notice it more than nessisary. Many things needs to be changed, but sudden changes may make a lot of people angry, slower changes (but still changes) are better.
OnlyOneCanoli
I'm pretty moderate in my beliefs. When I register to vote, I'll be doing it as an Independent most likely (although I'd like to participate in the primaries...). I just don't agree with everything either ideology/party has to offer. I like to pick and choose.
Dark Warrior
I am progresive. I like what is going on in the Swamp, yet their I things I want to see changed. But I still think the Swamp is a great place to be.
Agen
I don't think i can answer that wuestion as a yes or no type of way. I'm kinda in the middle. I want a few things to change but want thing to stay the same also. If things progess too much sometiems they aren't fun anymore. Jedi_Monk
I'm politically progressive; I believe that everybody should be able to live comfortably and securely in their country, no matter their race or religion (or what have you). You can't use the government to convert people to your ideals, no... you do that on your own time!

Stating that Conservatives want things to stay the same is flat out untrue. Everybody wants progress, it's just that Liberals and Conservatives have very different ideas about how to accomplish that
Kstar__2
@toonces: i learned it that way, but i don't want to discuss about what we both think it means, we won't change eich others mind anyway.
