nova_wolf
We are forever saying - all this crap the stick out on TV these days - WHY! In our time, we had Transformers and MASK and Centurions. Why don't they bring back these classics. And now they are picking up on this at TV HQ wherever. Unfortunately, some of what they are bringing back should not have been disturbed from its slumber... Care Bears. They are back - in teddy form a the mo, but where there's a bear, theres a show... They bring back Transformers, Thundercats is set to return to telly in the foreseeable future... But WHY OH WHY the Care Bears! What else would they dare bring back - what shows do you fear returning...

obi
Originally posted by -=Chi3f=- M.A.S.H. could you imagine Ben Afleck as Hawkeye? I couldn't agree more. M*A*S*H is the best show to ever exist, and the thought of re-doing it with some of today's "actors" would suck. just image if Ben Afleck was Hawkeye and Matt Damon was Trapper (eek). Running reruns of M*A*S*H is a different story though. If they took those off, I would be heart broken.

nova_wolf
No - TV HQ is not a channel, just a made up place to focus my thoughts on this subject. Transformers ARMADA is on Sky 1 - not the originals, although I am not dissing these new ones - have yet to watch any - is it worth it? Did they replace Zoids with T:A (am a fan of the idea of Zoids) The Turtles have been back on our screens and off again more times than I can remember - and each was worse than the first - the original will always rule! If you remember Snorks, do you remember the small furry mammal version of them and the smurfs - the Biscuits? 'Get Smart' was awesome! Movie was okay aswel, but preferreed Maxwell Smart in his element at 6 every evening. And now for M*A*S*H - me & gf have Paramount, and are avid fans of M*A*S*H the series. The film just wasn't the same, and any remake would only upon it the worlds first collective call of 'bomb of hopsital'! As for Ben Affleck and Matt Dillion: OI! HOLLYWOOD! NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

nova_wolf
Okay - what happened to Transformers! Had to get up early today, so watched T:Armada to pass the time... NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:mad: The teenagers from the original have been replaced with digidestineds, they now have minicoms, who look like droid digimon, and to make it worse, in the episode I watched, they actually used the word digitise and were sucked into cyberspace. Since when was Megatron - Deceticon Megatron - a TANK!!!! I distinctly remember him looking like a meaner version of Dirty Harry's hand cannon! Voices were naff. Where were Huffer (the old Autobot patcher-upper') and lovable ol' BUmblebee (The yellow VW Beetle). And lazerbeak has been pussified - from a screaming vulture like robot to a 1/2 ft tall piece of pigeon poop- with binoculars for a head! AAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell me I just caught a crap episode... PLEASE!

WolfmanNCSU
Yeah, I remembered about a month back when I was going to watch the new Transformer show. I was excited cause I loved the orginal, but they I watched it. It was worst than Beast Wars. YUCK. I am hoping that the new turtle series will not suffer the same fate. BRING BACK FAMILY GUY!!! That was hilarious. One show that I would hate to come back would be Bevis and Butthead. My god, that show blowed ass.
