QueZTone Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 http://www.pcmedia.nl/cgi-bin/zoek?Art=10327 http://gameorder.nl First Hollandish places I see that sells it. Perhaps interesting for those Dutchies who were thinking about getting it.
Haggis Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 Hell, yeah! That's great, thank you very much. Now where did I leave my piggy bank...
elTee Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 Yeah, this one is available in the UK. It's a good box, I think it must have 4 separate DVD cases inside.
savvy Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Cool! i'm gonna order! but i cant seem to find the pack on gameorder.nl
Haggis Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Oh yeah, a couple of days ago I got my Entertainment Pack from PC Media... it's great. If anyone of you is interested, I could take some pictures so you can see what it looks like.
Benny Posted March 19, 2003 Posted March 19, 2003 Here's some scans of mine I did ages ago Front Back
savvy Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 sweet I actually bought the original Full Throttle when it first came out and bought LucasArts Archives vol3 a year ago which included MI1+2, Afterlife, The Dig and Full Throttle.. So if i buy this pack i'll have Full Throttle 3 times and The Dig 2 times.. but i think i'll still buy it tho since i never played Grim Fandango and only played the floppy version of sam and max.
savvy Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 Haggis, does this dutch pack contain Sam N Max or Day of the Tentacle.. the news item said it included DOTT instead of Sam N Max.. too bad they didnt include them both
elTee Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 You HAVE to hear Sam & Max with voices! Its spot on.
savvy Posted March 20, 2003 Posted March 20, 2003 i never played the talkie versions of dott and samnmax so im happy either way.. i just ordered the pack a few hours ago, so i guess it'll be a suprise
savvy Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 another dutch shop that sells the pack http://www2.comcol.nl//bestel/sivr_c.hts#7862f
Haggis Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Originally posted by savvy Haggis, does this dutch pack contain Sam N Max or Day of the Tentacle.. Oh, uh, sorry for this late reply. It does in fact include Sam & Max, not DOTT. And those pictures will come some time, I just have to find some time to take them (heh).
Laserschwert Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Is there a German version of the Entertainment Pack coming? Because I have the DOS-versions of all the games. By the way, the German talkies are really great. Max has the German voice of Bart Simpson... pretty cool. And Maggy from "The Dig" has Dana Scully's German voice... that's pure atmosphere *ggg* I hope that nice box with DVD cases (I bet they look great on the shelf) will be released in Germany too....
elTee Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 I love England. I see this box almost every day, in countless games shops and supermarkets. I could buy it anytime I liked, just like that. Same applies to the Monkey Island Bounty Pack. Gotta love my home town city.
Alien426 Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 Hey, I didn't know that about Sam & Max and The Dig! I expected all translations to be as crappy as the one of Grim Fandango I'd seen in a movie clip. Those versions may be worth a look. What with the new law for the protection of the youth I guess it may be even risky to bid for an Entertainment Pack on eBay. LucasTones, can I move in?
Laserschwert Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 Hey, you should play the German version of Grim Fandango, its translation is awesome too... like all LucasArts games. Manni has the German voice for "ALF" (ah, those were the days), called Thommy Piper. But of course he has a Mexican accent to his voice in this game, pretty cool.

Gabez Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 It's sold in Game, which used to be called Electronics Boutique.
elTee Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 Yeah, Game, EB, HMV, tesco, woolworths, wh smith, PC world, Dixons...
Phat Oscar Posted April 10, 2003 Posted April 10, 2003 I've tried Game, but they don't ship to the US. I emailed them the question. It took 5 days for a reply. I'll try the other stores you listed. I'll try to find their websites.
