Ratmjedi
Well I discussed childrens names with Dania before we broke up. But we are most likely going to get back together if everything turns out ok. But we agreed that Able was a good name for a boy and I always like Julie for a girl. We both also agreed that we wanted to have around 2-4 kids. Like Stormhammer said you have to consult the other person cause you never know if they even like the name in the first place let alone want to name their child that. If me and Dania do get back together we are going to make sure that we are both very serious about each other. We both still have strong feelings for each other and miss each other. But we are waiting to get out of school so that way we can get to know each other better and stuff. Just thought I'd let you guys know since you were the first to know about it since I made a real depressed thread here when me and her broke up. Luc Solar
Well I got a kid on the way.. next week I'll know if it is a She or a He. Quite some time ago I said to my wife that Elias might be a cool name to my son. My wife has suggested Mikael (pronounced "Mi-ka-el", not like you Yankees say it.) I turns out that the day when the ultrasound-thingie is (and I get to know the gender) is name day of... *drumroll* ... ELIAS AND MIKAEL! How about that!? Freaky, huh? But if it is a girl then... I dunno.

munik
I got one daughter named Emily Rose. We didn't know the sex of the baby till birth, and we procrastinated so much on coming up with names that we didn't think of it till a few hours after birth. But it sounded good then, and still does. I was holding out for Helmut, but my wife says that's a name better left to our first dog. So, now I just have to get a dog so I can holler out such a cool name I can't believe some people here don't want kids. There are very few things that your body aches for, and having kids is one of them. I don't understand how anyone could not want something that is almost the sole purpose of their existence. Perplexing.
Luc Solar
Helmut? How on earth did you come up with that?? Mind if I use it in case I get a dog some day? I think this "I never want kids"-thing is comparable to how youngsters feel about the opposite sex. >> When I was 5 I thought girls were icky. (Umm...actually I didn't, but I know many boys do.) Same with kids. Once you hit 25, you'll all be wanting kids. I mean... who doesn't want to pass on their l337 skills and knowledge to someone? Not having a kid is a waste, really. munik
If you use the name Emily, you gotta use Helmut Luc, I don't know where I came up with it, I think it might be a german name and that's where I heard it. I think it's hilarious though.

Darth Groovy
I want kids, and so does my girlfriend. We are not "actively" trying right now, because she does not want to leave any behind when she goes to boot camp, so maybe after basic training. We never agree on names. We both want to have only two kids, a boy and a girl, but we would be happy with whatever God gives us. We never agree on names though. I wanted to name a girl Hannah, which she already has a cousin named Hannah, and I like the name Chase or Trevor, for a boy, but she just hates both of those. The next thing I am going to suggest to her is Pic, and Gorc! I love starting crap with her!
Luc Solar
One of the major problems with naming your child seems to be that whatever you suggest, the other knows someone by that name. M: "How about Laura?" W: "Laura?! Are you kidding me! I knew a Laura when I was 5. She was a total bitch, broke my teddy bear! No way am I going to name my child after her!" M: "Michelle?" W: "No. There was a Michelle in my class in junior high and she was always teasing me about my glasses. Besides, she smelled funny." M: "Oookay...why don't you pic a name then...?" TheJackal
I like names that are very very uncommon (that means ficticious names from movies/books/etc) My name is pretty rare from where I live and its part of my identity. I like my indiviuality and I do not compare and fix myself to the standards of others. Especially when it comes to fasion, i either wear or do something that hasnt been done before or was done a long time ago. As for kid's name. I'm thinking of Conrad for a boy. As for girl, I'm still searching for ideas. But like LeXX said. I wont be able to tell till i get married and then get kids.
Darth Eggplant
well I thought I'ld have them rake the leaves first, then they could wash the windows, and then I'll get them to bring in some firewood, and then I'll make some hot chocolate, and we can sit around the fireplace drinking coco and roasting marshmellows.
