Lamer alert, worst lamer experience yet

I was just on a server tonight, and these two guys, from the [RYA] clan, I've never heard of it before, but they came in, loaded up killtracker, and started laming myself and a newbie that I was teaching specials to. I felt so alienated, since the server explicitly and plainly stated "no *******s" and had no saber=don't attack and the normal kinds of no laming rules, and this poor newbie who said no one had helped him out with the game previously on other servers, then the two lamers just crash everything, most of the really hardcore lamers I have encountered don't even say anything or not much, they just run around killing people like they need to relieve stress or blow off some steam or something, which is still not cool because they can use bots for that. But these guys were obviously buddies, and they were just mouthing off everywhere, with rather offensive killtrackers, too, they were slaughtering us two with their grip/kick shenanigans, and DFAing, and pulling and just basically trying to belittle us, you might think I could've just used protect but there were two of them, I couldn't really hold two lamers off at the same time, I also don't have much experience in laming techniques such as grip/kick anyways ........ finally someone came in and started helping to quell these guys, then an admin came in and got rid of them. But jeez, don't people have any sense of judgment these days? I guess it's just human nature, which is sad really, but man it just got me so frustrated...... *breathes deeply* well the name of these guys are [RYA]Pchild, and [RYA]Sylinc, just to let everyone know, so they can hide their children if they see them :p

Thank you for listening to my worst lamer experience thus far, I just really needed to get that out, and to warn others of this [RYA] clan :disaprove, even if the whole clan isn't like that, because of these two's actions the clan should be shunned, which is just my harsh sense of justice

I have a question to ask about JKII, I'm not a newb and I have a friend who's been playing JKII for years, and neither of us know what PING is.

Mabee it was anoying of those two but they just wanted some fun and it was short lived and now you can go back to what you were doing. Evryone enjois a good raid evry now and then. You can't have evrything you want.

But to do it exessively to the same server/people, is mean. But I'm sure some people care!

Edit Taos - Let the censor do it's job, no need to work around it. Thanks.

It's just as if your at your Jedi temple and some sith crash the party. If it were real life would you go "Hey I'm trina train a dude hear man, buzz off." I don't think so, you just fend them off till the Masters arrive. So take the good aspects of the game and the bad and don't wine.

It's okay to tell your story, just don't wine. (Not saying you were wining.)

A ping is a small packet of data sent from your computer to another computer. That computer is supposed to reply back with a "pong". The time it takes for you to recieve the "pong" packet is your "ping time". Ping is used to tell whenther or not a node is alove on a network and, like most gamers do, use it to test for latency between nodes.

Here you go Khier Serakk and don't say I don't ever do anything nice.

I was browsing servers in ASE and I saw these two idiots in the <{AP}> server and went in.

Laming is one thing, I do it to rile up fanboys now and then but these two are just plain ***holes.

Going into a server and making racist remarks and degrading lesser players is not laming, that's being a prick and that is what these two guys are.

Here is a small demo of them getting their ass handed to them and ironically enough I got one of them to complain that I "chat killed him" and the other started whining that my ping gave me an unfair advantage.

Enjoy.

That's exactly what I mean, shock, I've encountered tons of lamers, but for some reason those two guys just really ticked me off, and they have been in the server that I was in before, doing the same thing, so it's not like a random once-in-a-while-raid. They were also pulling racist remarks, too, from when I met up with them. So maybe that clarifies a little more, they were just plain idiots, trying to ruin the game for everyone, and that happens to be every or most games they're in, which just isn't right. I can see where someone might just want to have a little laming spree, I guess, but those guys were just out of line, even in the world of laming methinks. I've never made a post like this ever, after meeting a lot of lamers, these guys just really got to me, though. My apologies if I........did something wrong by posting this......

Oh and shock, thanks for sticking up for me there heh, it wasn't until after that I thought I should have got some screenshots or something of my incident. Bah, I can't view the demo, but at least someone agrees with me.

To watch demos do this:

Go here

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base

Look for a folder called "demos".

If you don't see one right click on open space > New > Folder and name it demos

Just drop that downloaded file in that demos folder and when you start up a multiplayer game go to "Play" > "Demos" and it will be there.

There is nothing really spectacular on that demo but you do see them getting owned and making excuses for dying while the rest of the people on the server make fun of them. One of them actually went into spec mode after a while and hid.

The other called me a rather improper racial slur after my last kill off him and disconnected.

Don’t worry though, I love messing with people like this and I usually stalk them by their player names for weeks until they stop using that name or quit the game, I’ll get you some better footage.

;)

That's interesting playing jkII for years while the game is only (almost a year old):D

And ping is the connection speed so with a cable connection you get lower ping then a 56K modem.

Lower ping is better becaus you will have less lag.

Well that demo sure made me happy :) heh, I don't know if I watched the whole thing, though it seems like if you press anything during the demo it just feezes and stops, I might have hit something by accident, oh well I'll check it out again later to catch the rest, thanks again shock.

I'm just getting nothing at all dude :(

The page / file won't load, as if it's just not there. It just waits about 45 seconds and then tells me the page cannot be found (on IE5) or it's Timed Out (on Mozilla).

Is there a page name I can type afterwards that will help? EG. unnamed_jedi1/xxxxx.html or the name of the .dat file?

lol I'll mail it to you but there is really nothing special on it.

That was some of the worst FF fighting I've ever done (kind of hard on a 0 regen server when you have one guy constantly draining you).

It was just a small part of a 10 or so minute beating I laid on these idiots, next time I bump into them I'll record it from the start.

LOL Cheers Shock, That's MINT! :p

Yes, I also liked the way you kicked 'em to death without so much as drawing your saber, and they called you lame! :p Class!

Although I am worried these guys may be wearing out whichever key they've bound to Drain. Maybe someone should suggest binding it to a few keys, just for the sake of their keyboards. :p

Ah, much fun!

Have a good Easter folks,

B.

right.

in other words, the less ping you have, the more smoother it will run.

I know those two. Well not know them but they have attacked me in the past, they usually come to servers (BS*, House of talent) to name a few. Now what was a constant laugh to me is that they actually sucked individually. I was also training this one guy some of the specials and how to use them. (Go figure). All they did was grip and saber throw it was actually kind of sad. After every kill they would say something like OWNED or some other very intellegent remark. All i had to do was switch to lightside and run around with absorb. God they sucked.
