elTee Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 I voted for Sam & Max 2, because I think Monkey Island has been done to death and if they carry on making more then it'll turn into Police Quest or something (ie, good games forgotten by many inferior sequels.) I don't doubt there will be another MI game, they've hinted at it loads, but I wish they'd just stop. Grim Fandango is better than Monkey Island 2 (the best MI game IMO) and a sequel would ruin it. What can be added to that plot? Nothing, without ruining the original. Full Throttle 2 - yeah yeah, but doesn't look like the kind of game I want them to make. Time will tell. Other - well, sure... suprise me LEC LucasArts.
TheMonkeyGuy Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 I voted for "Any of those would be great", because I am fan of all adventures of LucasArts and I am wait for secuels of Grim, Monkey, Full Throttle and Sam & Max
Benny Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 I voted for S+M2 for much the same reasons as Lucastones. I'm a bit more optimistic about FT2 now but i'd still rather see S+M2, I think its got a better chance of turning out well.
ThunderPeel2001 Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 I guess no-one is voting for FT2 because we're already getting it! ~ John
scabb Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 Yeah, hopefully Sam & Max 2 shall be raw adventure with minimum action sequences. However, if any other sequel were to crop up, I would like it to be Maniac Mansion 3. I'm sure LucasArts have plenty of tentacle jokes. The only one up there that should be avoided is Grim Fandango 2.
Bob Gnarly Posted May 10, 2003 Posted May 10, 2003 Im looking forward to Sam and Max 2, because i never bothered playing 1
Alien426 Posted May 11, 2003 Posted May 11, 2003 Does that make any sense, Mamba? By the way, I voted for any.
Eric19 Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 I want an Afterlife 2. Even though the first one did'nt do very well. I think it was an awesome game, and would love to see a sequel, or at least a remake.
Hellbeard Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 I voted for anyone, considering that I am suffering from cronic boredom and that Im in dire need of a good game to keep me occupied.
GendoTheGreat Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Much like Lucastones and that benny guy I believe a sequel would ruin Grim Fandango, I've never cared much for the MI series, and I once played Sam & Max through five (5) times in a month, so s&m it is. After that, I might give that Sam and Max game a look.
