RoguePhotonic Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Maybe they are trying to make him look more like the actor that will play him in the movie...

Lunatic Jedi Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 *Splashes ice cold water on Whitedragon's face* There, that's enough passing out.
HertogJan Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 There was an article in PC Zone BeNeLux too, some great screens, but it's too bad Max looks a lot older now But hey, it's going to be a great game!! Personally, I didn't find MP1 too short, but I can't call it very long either. I replayed it two times BTW, that's pretty much
RoguePhotonic Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 Yeah they are making a movie...though I don't really know anything about it...
Lion275 Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 i never actually got around to playing the first one the 2nd looks cool, so i might pick up the first one
Icemaniax Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 i've known about MAx Payne 2: FOMP for awhile, infacty i made a topic about it in the Adreniline vault forums. Old News
legameboy Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 No way will it be out this fall with the lack of info and screenshots... No way Jedi Academy will be out this fall with the lack of info and few screenshots. It's called secrecy, it's what developers do.
StormHammer Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 According to the PC Zone article, Max Payne 2 is slated for arrival in Autumn 2003...which is from September onwards. Looks like September is going to be a really busy month. Anyway, as for the development time...I think they must have spent quite a while already on this game, judging by the screenshots in the mag. After all, they've basically built on top of the existing Max Payne tech (whereas with the previous game they were building the engine, along with the game), and could have been working on the story etc., from the time of the original game's release. Keep in mind Max Payne was released in September 2001. So they've potentially had a good 18 months of development time. If it had been Raven in the driving seat, we'd already be playing it.
