Zits!!!!!!!!!!!

I had quite a few when I was younger. I used to use Biactol, but it's debatable how much that helped. I know it's worked for other people though. I basically just had to wait for nature to take it's course

Mind you, I still get the odd one now, and I'm bloody 30!

I'd concur with keeping your skin less oily though.

Some of it is genetic. Ask your parents, older siblings, etc, if they had 'em bad, you probably will too.

When I was young I had 'em, not as bad as some people, but definately annoying. Tried lots of different meds and all that other stuff, but the real thing that got rid of them was time. It is still a good idea to shower daily though, pimples or not!

What's worse than zits are cold sores (aka "canker sores") you get them for seemingly no reason (although drinking too much pop can do it, or not getting enough sleep while stressing out) and they really hurt, like on the tip of your tongue!

Anyway, that was another great thing about getting past the teen years...

Erm, canker sores are those burning dealies in your mouth that hurt alot. They form on the tongue and inside of cheeks. Cold sores are the dealies that form on or above your lip. I get those way to often for my liking.

Heh, I think I've had two zits in my life, although I got one on my neck that is always taken off while shaving

I'm a very mad person that likes the word "dealy" :p

The worst ones are those little bastards inside your nose. They hurt like crazy. Oh oh! And those little nasty ones inside your ear that never go away. I get zits pretty bad, but I don't worry unless they hurt or look really gross. Then I just put a dab of soap on 'em before I go to bed and they pop out really clean in the morning.

Zits are just clogged pores from dirt and oil. What you eat has no effect on whether you get zits or not, unless maybe you eat something that makes your skin oily in which case it would make you more susceptible to zits. But, I have no idea what type of food would do that. Just wash well, maybe use an astringent if you are really worried about them. If you decide to pop your zits, be gentle. If you squeeze extremely hard, or are very rough in other ways, you can leave scars. One or two might not be that bad, but I've seen older people whose faces have more craters then the moon. You don't really want to go your whole life like that, not if you can help it.

Cold sores are herpetic lesions. Better watch out where you put your hands during an outbreak, you don't want those lesions on your balls.

Backne is a pain in my ass.

I pop zits ocassionally. It's not going to scar if you don't force it. As long as the zit is ready and is dried out somewhat, it won't leave a big scar. A have a few, but most often I don't scar. Oh, and Munik is right, you can't get zits from eating chocolate.

One of the best ways to get rid of zits is to get lots of cardiovascular excersize. Ride your bike instead of driving your Toyota, and you'll get rid of zits as well as sve money to spend on the hunnies. ;)
