With Starsider not going to be up at Launch, what server are we all going to start on? Reaper said we would get an answer after the sunday meeting, but I haven't seen any info on the Forums.

Hey guys, just so you all know, my PA is currently talking Chilastra, but we are waiting on you to make your decision. Also, I may log into one of those ever-disgusting IM services so I can discuss some proposals/alliances with Wraith and Jan. Keep me up to date on your server decision, because we would like to be on the same server, even if it only takes a few hours/days for Starsider to come up.

Funny enough this server came into discussion last night, not sure on details but i think we may start there. :)

I am willing to wait for Starsider, but I met some great people in beta that are using Chalistra and that would be a good server too. The people I know are rebel aligned, but we can still do business woth them.

why dont we all just go wherever we want and then just meet on starstrider after it gets up and running. itll give us all time to get to know the game abit for ourselves. just a suggestion

I agree. We can all just start secondary characters, or see what we wanna try with our main ones. It might not be a bad idea to have a secondary =A= server. We wouldn't be a PA in it, but we would at least know some people.

Well, the reason I am having my PA members all head to the same server is so that we can do a dry run on our official start on Starsider. Considering the lack of communication between your Beta testers, I think you should fall in line as well. No offense of course, we have created plans for training costs and P-leveling specific characters so that we can focus more on the RP aspect of the game. Basically, we max our characters in a little over a month, and then proceed to get to the fun stuff. Make sense. Just offering some helpful guidance.

I want to have master TK inside 2 months of playing. And that's why I want to organize a group hunt every night. D_S I'll hook up with you guys if it'll mean I can get my TK master inside 2 months :)

EDIT: Hook up = grouping with

Oh, so I'm not on a 'need to know'-basis anymore? Or are you scared? ;)

...what about the people who want to take their time with their characters.... can i come too?? (said it before and ill say it again i hate ppower leveling!!)

Swediot, I would normally agree with you, but even the devs have said, this game is not played skill leveling, the game is what you do after you are maxxed. We will be P-Leveling as many of our players as we can to get to the fun stuff...RP. Then we won't have to worry about doing anything specific and can start having fun.

It doesnt matter what level you are, you can always have fun in this game. I went on a cave expedition last night and had a wonderful time. I was useless to the group as a novice healer, novice marksmen, the only thing I offered them of use was I was the only person out of 13 that could setup a camp. I did get 900exp from each camp though :) With this group I was able to go further than I ever though I could go and never had a problem because I was with some great players that didnt really need me there but enjoyed having me along.

You should never feel the need to power lvl in SWG. I personally will always try to maximize my exp, but thats just how I play.

I agree with sidious this time, I personally want a mix of both gaming and Rping.:)

Murashu:

You are right. I never said you couldn't have fun without P-leveling. You can, I have for the last three months. We just want to get the tedium out of the way and not worry about it anymore.

JR:

Sorry man, I think it would be best if you did that with your group. Not to say you're not welcome to group with us on hunting and such, but as far as the P-leveling, well:

A) For combatants it can be tedious work and would give you insight into our combat methods, which we do not wish to share.

B) For crafters it involves giving permissions to harvesters and factories, so that's not happening. No offense, not that I don't trust you, I don't trust anyone.

You are welcome to come with us and we'll show you how it's done. We will be doing our dry run on our first server until Starsider comes up. By that time, our members should be acting as one strong unit, knowing exactly what each members duty will be to attain maxxed status in the shortest period of time.
