Exar_reborn
This issue has been discussed over everything the past few days. Seeing as Starsider was one of the first servers open it was rushed to so people could play ASAP. It is no longer the Unofficial Roleplaying server. But a majority of us either don't have the game yet or are having computer trouble and can't get into Starsider due to the cap being full. Now the cap being full is kind of illegal, b/c we payed to be able to have 1 char per server and putting a cap is denying us this. But that is not what i'm here to argue. Please vote on the pole above and make sure yours counts.
Murashu
I'm sad to see it coming to this after all the warnings we posted and the naysayers kept on pressing to go to SS. I think we have a pretty good foundation on SS and it will be hard to get 20 players who have already invested thier time into playing to move somewhere else. SS seems to have a good group of people and with the current restrictions in place doesnt seem to lag any at all. I have gone 12-13 hours stretches without getting disconnected which is pretty damn good for a MMORPG. We started on SS because thats what the majority wanted. I still think it was a bad decision but I'm not moving servers when im 4 blocks away from combat medic because no one would listen before.

I'm one of the players on this server and I think that starsider has been great. I'm impressed with its performance being an east coast server and I'm on the west coast - hardly any lag at all and I"ve experienced similar runs of gameplay w/o a disconnection. We've got a good foundation going....I think we should stay here and keep things going. When other servers open up, people will go to those, I don't think we should make a hasty decision now - we should be patient and see how things go for us. -=ReApEr=-
I can easily say we are staying on starsider this has all been decided and will not be changing.
Jackrabbit
Last night I went to make a character on another server, and it looks like they're all opened up. I think we should wait...but only for a little while. I'm prepared to move if we have to. [Edit] I accidently voted for move entire PA
dow_30
this morning on Starsider. Besides, several other PA's are talking about moving and we have no guarantee the same thing won't happen on another server.
Jackrabbit
You're right that we should have had more servers open at the beginning. We would have, if it had not been for the DB issues we had. We're basing closing off Starsider not on the # of characters there, but on thedemand for the server at peak times right now. We may re-open it in the future, but right now, given that it maxes out at peak, it doesn't make sense to allow even more people to create on it and just make the problem worse. -Raph Koster, Creative Director I think they'll let more people on as soon as the servers get more stable. Personally I think that will be soon. They update/check the servers every morning at 6am PST. I never crash, or get disconnected, even at peak hours. IMO they could open it up now, but I guess they don't want a catastrophic crash (I don't blame them), so they're covering their asses. So, again, be patient. Donnie Darko
I'm totally against it. We had this decision before - stay or go? We chose stay. We knew that problems like this were going to occur when we made this decission eons ago. Yesterday they updated saying player performance and stability were increased, so most likely they will allow more players in soon, like dow has stated. If worst comes to worst and we decide to move...I'm staying. Fiba is just the way I want him and I've put a lot of time into him. Members of the P.A. get together daily to go adventuring and we have sooo much fun together. It would be too devistating if we had to move to a different server. Wraith 8
sorry to say.. but i think we should stay... look.. people like us will make the choice to leave the server and move.... and like someone said.. they are raising the cap.... so i think there is no problem -Wraith 8-
Xx_Patman_xX
In the last 4 days of SWG I have probably spent close to 70 hours building Froobuk. Iam not gonna throw him out the window and start over.
DirtyWombat
I'm going to have to weigh in on behalf of the majority as well... I'm one tier away from weaponsmith and two from Rifleman... To start over again would be pretty taxing... But I do want to play with all of my Associates... I'm sure some folks are gonna drop off after the first month or shortly thereafter when the monthly kicks in... Wombat

Ride
YAY! Our leader said we are staying! No more crying!!!! I am doing good in the Scout, I am really pushing my exploration and hunting skills to get Creature Handler going, then I will work on my Scout Mastery. For those of you who would like to help me, lets group, and just let me Harvest. If you do that, from just one Durni nest, and harvesting about 75% of them, I shot up really quick. So, if I am in a group of about four or five, and I can harvest everything, I can get those skills up quick... Rifle men: You rifle, I harvest... Lord_Vessen
Wraith is your ingame name Corzip? What sucks now is that they lowered XP gathered from enemies and attack on Berserk. I mean come one. Berserk was the only valuable attack on brawler. Now its just crap.
