Tie Guy
If They don't have the scene referenced to in ANH, in regards to Anikin's lightsaber for Luke. I always got the impression the Obi-Wan made that made that up to get Luke to follow him, seeing as he always wanted to be like his father and all. Maybe not, though. Either way would be fine with me. If They don't address the "one with the force" disappearance thing. I'd like to know, but i can't think of how they could adress that. It wouldn't be right to just have someone ask bluntly, but that's something that needs to be explained bluntly. If A lava planet or similar locale is not backdrop to the final Duel between Anakin and Obiwan. Sorry, i read a quote from onw of the main guys with Lucasfilm saying that wasn't going to happen and was just a rumor. I think it was on starwars.com, but i can't remember who said it. I only wish i could be there to see you go "NOOOOoooooo" in the middle of the movie.
lukeiamyourdad
The best ending would be Palpatine and Vader alongside some Imperial Moffs and Admirals overlooking the huge Imperial Army. All of that with the Imperial march as a background scene. Now things that would piss me off: -If Padmé does not explain to Anakin how to make babies(I mean he's a Jedi he probably doesn't know nobody told him). -If Qui-Gon doesn't do a brief cameo -If Hayden Christense actually wears the Vader costume(I have my reasons) -If they decide to remove the Chewbacca scenes -If we don't see an epic battle(not duel, battle) That's all I can think off...but I would not walk out...nobody should... Artoo
Actually I have a theory on this whole Empire thing and it's timing within the movie. IMHO, I think that we will see the empire come to be at about the middle of the movie if not earlier, because when the empire comes together you will see the atrocities commited against aliens. Also this will set up them needing to get Luke & Leia to their respective homes. BUT they will not show Luke & Leia getting to their homes... why you ask? For trilogy continuity. If they showed it, then the whole surprise would be ruined. They will also not mention that there are two kids... if GL is smart about it. There will most likely be a large jedi purge in the middle/later half of the movie while the Anakin/Obi-Wan plot escalates. In short this movie will be kick-A simply because of all the stuff that has to happen. I also predict a large atrocity to be commited against Naboo that will make it of zero significance to the next 3 movies. I also agree that the movie should end on a huge downer with Obi and Yoda in hiding, Padme dead and the fate of her kid(s) unknown, (supposedly dead I hope) the Empire in full swing with Anakin donning the infamous armor (sorry lukeiamyourdad but I think this one is going to happen) This is the order of events that must happen for there to be trilogy continuity and for a great story that ends on a huge downer and leaves you hanging as to what the galaxies fate is. Admiral Odin
I like that theory Artoo. That would definetly make for a interesting movie. I also agree with the Luke and Liea thing. If they show them going to their respective adoptive parents it would destroy the surprise in Episode 4.
DarthMuffin
First off, I would never walk out of Ep3; I have waited too long to let it pass by me. The only thing that can possibly disappoint me is a lack of space battle. The movie is called Star Wars. We need to see a space battle. Also, every Star Wars has a space battle, but I was disappointed by Ep1 and 2. In Ep1, we only see anakin trying to do something intelligent with his N1, and in Ep2, we only have a small persuit in an asteriod feild. I miss my ISD:( ... Oh, and I hope we will see this Jedi Purge. I don't want Palp to kill some council members, I want him to decimate hundreds of Jedis Worst Ep3 moment : When Dooku will die :crybaby:
Young David
The cinema being on fire. I will not walk out of movie I've waited that long for. Even if Jar Jar pushes Anakin into the lava pit by accident ... I will stay until the ending credits.
darthfergie
What first attracted me to Star Wars? The space battles... What has GL been doing s*** about? The space battles... If they don't have a redeeming space battle in this movie...ALL SHALL HEAR MY WRATH FOR YEARS TO COME! ...but I won't walk out...I'll stay hopeful till the end. And I hope DEARLY that they've given Hayden Christiansen (sp?) a ton of acting lessons...
Clefo
Artoo in response to yours, here's a thought: This may seem anal retentive, but wouldn't seeing Anakin become Darth Vader ruin the continuity of the biggest suprise in the OT the "Luke, I am your father" one, think about it. Tie Guy
Yeah, Clefo, we can't know that Vader is Anikan, he just needs to be another minion. BTW, why was that in spoilers? It isn't a spoiler of any kind. Anyways, Ferg, I hear Eps. 3 will open will an enormous--and presumably amazing--space battle, so as some of my friends would say, get excited. Rogue15
I'll never walk out, but i'll be very upset if.... 1. If Tarkin doesn't appear 2. If they don't show xizor or some cool eu character (you can't kill me, i'm wearing shielded death star armor) 3. If aurra sing doesn't make an appearance 4. If boba fett doesn't make some kind of appearance 5. If they don't show what happens to 3PO 6. If they switch back and forth between multiple worlds, I HATED that in AOTC, i almost got geonosis and tatooine confused.. 7. If they don't show what happens to the Trade Federation 8. If they don't show Z-95 headhunters or some ship from the originals.... 9. If there's no cool space battle or ground battle 10. If there's more than 2 BRAND NEW NEVER BEFORE SEEN alien races in the movie (i'll murder someone....) 11. If they don't show some of the original aliens, or at least some of the ones seen in TPM like a few Zabrak, Gamorreans, Hutts, Twi'leks, TRANDOSHANS DAMMIT!!!!!! 12. If there's no Jedi Hunters 13. If there's no lightsaber battles (that would piss me off so much....) 14. If we don't see Kamino or learn what happens to it 15. If Padme doesn't get killed. well, there you have it. Yeah...I've heard...I've been getting exited ever since the BS that was the space battle in Ep I...I'm just saying with all this built up inside me and they DON'T give up a space battle to the fans...grrr....just thinking about the possibility makes me mad. YOU'D BETTER HAVE A SPACE BATTLE GL!

Artoo
Clefo - Excellent point! I'd forgotten about that. On the spot I've come up with a new theory! You're right they can't show Anakin becoming Vader, because that will ruin it because of what Luke says in Ep. IV, so they can show the final rematch with Obi-Wan, and Anakin falling into the lava (I hope, even though people have already spoken against it, this would be in a perfect universe) they eliminate Anakin, he literally dies in the movie, you don't know he still exists. And they never tell what happens to him, in other words... no jedi purge because Vader is at the heart of the jedi purge and he strikes down all the l33t jedi, but they can't show him because people will grow suspicious. They can show an attack like with an army against the jedi, but they can't show Vader. In doing this when you watch the movies in numerical order you will think that Darth Vader is a new character, even though you will realize that Luke is the son of the fallen Jedi Anakin Skywalker! And you won't know that he and Leia are brother and sister! Brilliant! In doing all of this the first three episodes will numerically enhance the last three! All it takes is the right combination of plot in Episode III, and Episode III ending on a downer! Brilliant! You guys who wanna learn stuff about how this movie needs to be made need to read that spoiler.

lukeiamyourdad
New point: -If we see Luke or Leia being born or somehow see them. It's gonna ruin the entire ESB scene where Vader says that Luke is his son. OK we all know it but 20 years from now some kid who's going to watch them all from 1 to 6 is gonna get pissed... Young David
Will it? We know Anakan is Obi Wan's pupil and that he turned to the darkside ... We know that Anakin is Obi Wan's First pupil and he probably will not have another one. When Obi Wan tells Luke about Darth Vader killing his father ... everyone will know that Darth Vader is his father.

Compa_Mighty
Havoc, you thought of a great ending, hope it's somewhere close to that. You gotta be kidding! Remember the end of episode 2, with the brand new Republic navy taking off from Coruscant! We've GOT to see these babies in action! Sher, was that Coruscant? BTW, I still think Anakin's got a father

Artoo
*Dons his Geek Mantra* If you watched the commentary for Episode II... George seriously talked about series continuity and being able to watch all of the movies from Episode I - VI. Scary enough as that is to some people. Also LukeIAmYourDad, you should read my spoiler section if you wanna figure out how they get away with not letting on that Anakin becomes Vader.
