  1. Time flies when you're having fun! I've been a lurker / beneficiary of the effort put into this place since the beginning but I've never actually posted before. 25 years is a landmark so I thought it'd be worth expressing my appreciation and gratitude!

  2. Just to make most of you feel ancient, I was born 3 years before Mojo, the year Full Throttle and The Dig came out πŸ˜‚ I think I discovered Mojo in the years between Escape and Tales, then officially joined the community along with the Telltale forums when that was announced, so a decent length but not as long as others. It really is THE site for Lucasarts fandom, whether it's the articles or the forums, and the amount of pure passion, humour and dedication over the years is truly something to behold. It's also managed to be free of toxicity over the years which in itself is a triumph; you don't see the kind of division in discourse that seems to occur daily in the Star Wars fandom. Here's to many more years here, even when we're all in a retirement home playing Monkey Island 10 and The Dig 3

  3. Audience vote. Most popular branch gets played in the cinema at each showing. Guaranteed repeat business, with at least some customers rewatching the same film multiple times against their will. A flawless business idea with no downsides - I'm taking this to Dragon's Den.

  4. Somehow time keeps passing, and it’s been over 25 years since Mixnmojo opened. Jason got a bunch of past and present staff to take a look back over the decades and pick their favorite articles from the site. (I took the most harassing to turn in my homework!) https://mixnmojo.com/features/sitefeatures/25-Years-of-Mojo-Staff-Picks Not sure if anyone else has any Mojo nostalgia, as that is admittedly a weird thing to have, but if you do, drop some memories or trivia or whatever it is in here.

  5. Those three branches of the same movie idea helped ruin the Clue movie in cinemas but thankfully those three endings were stitched cleverly together for the home releases.

  6. A delightfully devilish business idea! Indiana Jones and the Dragon's Den actually sounds like a fun movie itself.

  7. It's definitely a Bauhaus kind of story. Form follows function, and the function is the mad puzzle action! Revealing where Atlantis really is and getting there is the fun of it. It's still my favorite LucasArts adventure game, even though I had to wade through 12 Amiga discs back in the day. Come to think of it, most LucasArts games don't really have a particularly good story. One day we'll make a "Describe the story of a LucasArts game in five sentences so that newbies would never ever touch the game" thread. I think I'd make a pretty great TSoMI entry. Making a movie out of the Fate of Atlantis story would have been a disaster. A proper reboot in game form however, I'd be behind that 100%. If Dial of Destiny bombs hard, I guess the announced Bethesda Indiana Jones game will be quietly cancelled (after it's been put on hold, all hands on deck for the belated Starfield) and all hopes to ever get an orchestrated FoA soundtrack are out the window. πŸ˜” But, uhm, it's still seven days until Dial of Destiny releases, so I guess the myriad of youtube 'reviews' are mostly from people who have not even seen it. I'm keeping up some desperate hope like Jake. But it'll be difficult finding anybody willing to even watch it with me in theatres. Most people I know who were into the franchise once will not even give it a chance.
