  5. Well, we can't use SithSpecters door without asking. Though I've not seen him or heard of'em in a long time...

     

    Doing new animated doors is possible, I've made some myself, it is a rather tricky thing to do though. If you like certain doors,like the Taris ones, from the game I'dd suggest we use some of them and just give them a reskin job to fit in the enviroment better.

     

    Just make sure it'll fit in, but you know about that ;)

    Worked on my Korriban stuff on saturday, but wasn't happy with it.

    Was kinda pissed at 3Ds Max, didn't touch it on sunday :lol:

    Anyway it made me ponder on what to do on that, though, a positive note:

     

    I got 3Ds Max 2010 running! With NWmax ofcourse :p

    So swapping files shouldn't be a real issue anymore.

    Oh, got a question! Would you be interested in doing a little test for me?

    Marius said he got some frame rate troubles with the Korriban Canyon model I made for K1.

     

    Send me PM, if you would be willingly to test my canyon on your game, then report back if you get frame drops. That would mean I'dd need to clean up the model better.

  17. Waterfalls are done through animated textures.

     

    In 3D its nothing more then a few bended planes. You can find some waterfall textures in the Dantooine part or if you're doing something for TSL, look for the Dxun textures.

     

    Of course, some emitters might add the finale touch, though I need to look that up. I plan on having a waterfall in my Korriban canyon. :)

    Though at this point, you can't do much, there is still a lot 3D that needs to get finished before, anybody can do decent placing of objets, NPCS etc and scripts... and all.

     

    I will keep you in mind and like that you can train your skills even further ;)
